Review: I took 3 pair of Men's Levi jeans in to Michael Todd's Cleaners to be dry cleaned only. When I picked up my jeans on Monday 1/19/15, I noticed 2 pair of jeans had been washed and dried, instead of dry cleaned only as I requested. Resulting in the washing and drying of my 2 pair of Levi jeans, they faded and shrunk, I can no longer wear them because now they don't fit me. This is the exact reason why I wanted them dry cleaned and not washed and dried. [redacted] was the original lady who took my order and did not disclose or explain to me about the policy of following the manufacturer's tag of recommendations on how to clean the pants, nor did she check the tags in front of me while taking my order otherwise I would have insisted on dry clean only and sign their no obligation form. On Tuesday 1/20/15 I spoke to [redacted], the [redacted] who insisted that [redacted] did disclose the information of the manufacturers policy but was not witnessed to this, just hear say. At this time, [redacted] did insist that they did nothing wrong and followed store policy and would not reimburse me for the damage to my 2 Levi pants. My step dad also called on 1/20/15 and spoke to [redacted] hoping to resolve this problem, who also denied any wrong doing, and was not going to reimburse me for the damage to my Levi pants. They should have done what was asked by the customer (me) and not take it upon them selves to do what they did, they had my phone number on file so if there was any questions, it was very easy to contact me and ask if I wanted my pants washed and dried instead of taking it upon themselves to do this and not follow what I had ordered.Desired Settlement: All I am asking is for the reimbursement of my 2 Levi jeans that were damaged, and that the store will follow their own policy about informing the customer of any manufacturers tag policy, and check the tag in front of the customer before they leave the store. I would hate for the same thing to happen to someone else especially when they order one thing and get a totally different result. Each pant cost me $60, I take pride on how I look.

Response:

Very poor service, they pressed all of my dress shirts wrong multiple times. And when I complained about it, they very rudely told me I was no longer a customer because I complain to much. The lady at the counter then preceded yell profanity at me in front of my child. And to top it off she called the police on me for complaining about there poor service that by the way I had to pay for. I will never again use this place or recommend it to anyone in the Walworth county area.
