Hello ***,
Customer bought sofa and loveseat "AS-IS" as stated clearly on the invoice (see attached file), customer later called to complained about the problem,
I informed the customer that the sofa and loveseat was bought "AS-IS" and that there isn't much that I can do, customer insisted that
salesman told her
that it has a 1-year warranty on it. We wouldn't put "AS-IS" on the invoice if it has a warranty on it!!! so customer keep calling so I told customer I will submit
it to the manufacturer and explained the situation. Manufacturer was able to send me the base for the sofa, I told the customer the parts had come in and that
they would have to bring the sofa into the store so we can replace it, they live in Beaverton and don't have any kind of transportation to bring the sofa in. I told
the customer that if they are willing to wait, we will stop by her place next time when we are out in the area. Later customer now complained the loveseat frame
is also broke, I had told her there is nothing that I can do. When we had the chance to go out in the area we had lost or misplaced the part for her sofa so I
gave her full credit for the sofa replacement and we even delivered it to Beaverton for no charge
