We first contacted Michael about cleaning up an outdoor shed and replacing the floor that had gotten wet and was not safe, Michael and one of his men came over on a Sunday, power washed the shed, replaced the floor in a very short time and did and outstanding job, while he was here we talked about all of the things he could do so we discussed his team painting the interior of our home, agreed on a price, decided on the color and set a date His team came in painted the entire interior of our home both floors in just a couple of days, it was fast we had very little disruption, they were neat moved everything back in place and did an outstanding job If you want a great experience with a handyman, call on Michael and Shannon, but they way his wife Shannon painted along with the others, she's better and quicker than most, except maybe for MichaelIf you want and honest days work that is exceptional call Michael's Handyman Service, we recommend them very highly and we will definitely use them again

Potential customers, please be aware of this con-artistHe is not an ethical manHe will take your money and run -- does not do at all what he promises, has anger management problems and curses at his customersWe hired him to do some remodeling on our homeFor the most part, it was not difficult work, but a lot of different facets to the jobLuckily, my husband and I both know how crucial it is to have a contract any time you are going into business with someone for any reasonWe typed up the scope of work and had him sign itHe came out and reviewed everything with us, got half of our money for down payment, then once he finally got the permits (which he prolonged doing), finally sent two guys out to begin the job(He promised he was coming himself along with his crew of 4-people)He was to complete the work in daysHe didn't show up but about times in all, only came out one day with a few extra peopleHe didn't follow code, and there was some electrical work that needed to be done (moving lights, etc.)When first coming to our house he told us he had a licensed electrician to do the work(Another lie) He had one of the original two workers (neither one was licensed) to do the electrical work, wiring, etcHowever, it became too difficult and a local electrical company had to be hiredAfter they reviewed everything, they informed us that it was not done to code and we could have a fire hazardWhen telling Michael this, he started cursing and said "I quit." This seems to be Michael D***'s scam and way of getting your money, never finishing a job, and leaving the customer "high and dry" without completion of the workWe are now cleaning up the pile of rubbish in our yard and looking for a new contractor to complete this workLuckily, for us, the two young man that worked on our house were sub-contractors and had their own businessThey believed in treating a customer rightThey worked hard for us and did a really great job -- and felt really bad when Michael told them to leave the premiseThey attempted to complete as much as possible of the job before leavingHe's absolutely not the ONE you want to hireAVOID HIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! HE'S A SCAM ARTIST AND TAKES YOUR MONEY BUT NEVER COMPLETES THE WORKHopefully, this review will help someone else not get caught in one of his scams

We hired Michael D*** to help us take down and replace some huge awnings on our house and he was on time, courteous and affordableWe would not hesitate to hire him again for other projects in the future
