*** *** * ***On October 9th I Michael Bowden was at *** ***'s neibors house cutting down a cherry treeMr.*** walked up to myself on his neibors property*** said he
had a few things he wanted me to give him an estimate onHe wanted a very large limb on a maple hanging over his building and leaning towards his neibors garage behind his home removed then he showed me a large maple at the back left corner of his home that he wanted it pieced down and totally remove the tree and haul off wood and brush and grind the remaining stump, then a third maple in front of his home had a limb he wanted to remove just the limbI gave him a price of $2,for everything listed above, he AGREED on the $2,and we SHOOK hands on the dealThen MRS*** came and outside and asked that we add two craps myrtle trees that she wanted cut to eye level so I told her it would be $extra for themSo it made the job total $2,A day later I came and started on there jobI started taking limbs off the very large maple at back left corner of the home preparing to drop the treeI removed half the limbs off the tree by ropeing them one by one so that I could safely drop the treeJust prepping the one tree that was to be dropped, and cutting back the two craps myrtle took a full eight hour dayMr*** then paid me $cash.( HALF OF THE JOB TOTAL not all.) The following morning my crew an I started to drop the tree, Mrs*** then came outside and said to stop and she wanted to call her husband because she thinks she wanted to change her mind and NOT drop the tree, to instead but for me to top the treeI then explained to her that it would cost more than the original agreement of $to TOP the tree due to having to rope every limb down one at a time over her home which takes times as long as dropping the tree as which was our original planWe continued to clean up brush and wood from the prep work of the large tree and crap myrtlesMr.*** came home and told me that he should have talked to his wife about everything we had agreed too, which was $and we SHOOK hands on in front of peopleHe said that they had changed there mind on dropping the tree and wanted it topped insteadI then explained that it cost more to top a tree than drop a treeThey then had backed out of our original deal of $*** was VERY apologetic towards me and that they were sorry for backing out on our original agreementI feel the work I did was WELL worth the $I got paid, I paid out $to my employees for 1/days of work, I spent $on a days rental of a chipper that wasn't used due to them backing out, $on fuel, then wear and tear on equipment, I maybe was Lucky to make $after expencesI completed other jobs on different neibors home on her street and all homeowners were VERY satisfiedA few days later after the rain I did offer mr& Mrs *** to come and complete the job that we ORIGINALLY agreed on and shook onBut they still didn't want to drop the treeBasically they wanted me to top the tree I was originally supposed to drop for the same original priceSo since they backed out on our original deal and didn't want me to drop the tree I decided that the $that they paid me was worth the 1/days of work they gotA deal is a dealAnd they backed out

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. He was out and finished the job. We are satisfied
