I just recently purchased a house in the Roslin Farms West Subdivison and love the house However, the majority of neighbors that live here have problems with water pressure and the water qualityThe water is dark colored due to high iron content The issues were known before I purchased the house but we're not disclosed to anyone when purchasing Several attempts have been made by over neighbors to get this resolved over the past years, without resolution I do not feel that Caviness and Cates has done their due diligence to get this resolved or inform people of the issue before spending their life savings and not knowing it will affect their livelihood of their family to live in such conditions
I bought my house in in Carolina Colors, built buy Caviness and Cates After only a few months I noticed nails heads coming through the sheet rock, toilet drain running down wall was very loud, screws for top of outdoor lights not in and doors not installed After many calls some things did get repaired My issues are this my story wall started showing the studs through the sheetrock and nail heads The fix was to mud the wall over and try and make it look goodthey did mud the wall but now it is wavy if you look down the wall and now the studs are doing the same thing My bedroom ceiling, living room ceiling and kitchen are showing studs My stairway wall is showing studs in it alsoLarge crack in the wall and ceiling in upstairs bedroomAfter reading other complaints I am sure my stairs are not in code, to steep All they want to do is mud over the walls and cracks I am a Marine and some day I will want to sell my home, how can I with these problemsI need some help, Thanks

I purchased a Caviness & Cates home in Woodland Village, Fayetteville NC in 2004. Overall great home, a few issues but all resolved in a timely manner. Most recent issue was a faulty kitchen light noticed by buyer's inspector while selling home. Even after 12-yrs & under no obligation to assist, Caviness & Cates customer service sent over their electrician to evaluate the problem & advise me on price/repair options. The electrician found a faulty 3-way switch & fixed it free of charge. I hope my new home builder will be as gracious.
