Michael's Disposal

Review: I had initially contacted Michael's Disposal back in June of 2013 and left two different messages for someone to call me back because I had some questions regarding their trash disposal service. Eventually, someone ( a woman) did call me back. She informed me that the monthly payment for the trash removal was $22.00 per month. After I had asked, I was also informed that trash was picked up once per week, every Wednesday. I thanked the woman for the information and told her I would talk it over with my husband. She then asked for our address and said that she would mail us a payment book and stated that if we were interested all we had to do was send in our monthly payment, along with the coupon for that month. I thanked the woman and then gave her our address. My husband and I decided against the trash removal. We never sent in any payment or monthly coupon and we never left any trash out to be picked up. However, right before Christmas 2013, my husband and I received another payment/coupon book in the mail, this time for the year of 2014. And on the front of the payment/coupon book-it was written on the bottom: "2013 Past Due $275 Please Pay". Right after receiving the payment/coupon book I tried to contact the company on a daily basis to resolve the issue. I initailly thought that this was a simple mistake and could be resolved over the phone once I talked to someone from the business. HOwever, each and every time that I have called, NOONE answers the phone, no matter what time of day it is or what day of the week it is. The business has an answering machine-just a simple recording that comes on and says "leave a message". I have left at least four differernt messages asking someone to call me back regarding the bill and have left my contact number where I can be reached at. NOONE has called me back to date! I still try to call everyday however like I previously stated NOONE answers the phone, EVER! I am now turning to the Better Business Beaurea to help me resolve this matterDesired Settlement: I would just like the business to call me back to resolve this issue. furthermore, I would like the "past due" amount dropped as this business has NEVER serviced my family in any way.
