Dec15, Hello [redacted] ***, In response to [redacted] concerned and complaint regarding the utility bill, and gas leak, I would like to address the two issuesPlease see below along with the attachments I have includedService Performed (9/9/15): On 9/9/2015, Michall Daimion Heating and Air Conditioning, Incperformed services for [redacted] We installed a gas furnace with an air conditionerAt the time of installation the mechanic notified [redacted] that there would be a smell that is produced after the furnace is initially started up (please see documentation of manufacture attached).Follow Up Performed (9/11/15): On 9/11/2015, the mechanic arrived at [redacted] ' residence to perform a review of the operation of the System and installationDuring the review, the mechanic inquired [redacted] of any problems or Concerns with the System and installation services [redacted] stated that everything was fine and did not mention any unordinary smells or other issuesPhone Call (10/26/15): Over a month later, on 10/26/2015, [redacted] contacted the office regarding a smell of gasThe technicians were dispatched to [redacted] residence that dayThey arrived expecting to find an overwhelming smell of gas in the house, or at least near the unit based on their experience with gas leaksThe technicians could not physically smell any gasTherefore, they inspected the unit with a "sniffer" detector to locate the leakAfter the machine detected gas at an approximate distance of 6" from the unit's union, the technicians tightened the union, and retested that joint with no further results of leakageCorresponded with [redacted] via email on several occasionsHe explained to me that someone in the office said they would pay his gas bill, because he was upset at the loss of gasAlthough I did not authorize it, I did tell him would pay for half of the gas billI actually paid for the entire gas bill (see attachment)The utility bill is broken up into two sections, gas and electric (please see attachment) [redacted] was concerned with his loss of $of gas for the month which was taken care in full, and payment was mailed on 11/23/check # ***Heather D

I am rejecting this response because:I never stated everything was okay with the installation. I stated on 9/9 that I smelt gas and I was told it isn't gas; instead, it was the oil on the furnace. I continued to smell it until I shut down the heater because it wasn't needed. In theory it was two months of gas payments that should have been paid since it took this company that long to determine there was a problem. This company and the people who run this company completely failed to respond to my complaints early while subjecting many folks lives to danger.

In response to [redacted] concerned and complaint regarding the utility bill, and gas leak, I would like to address the two issues. Please see below along with the attachments I have included.

They arrived expecting to find an overwhelming smell of gas in the house, or at least near the unit based on their experience with gas leaks. The technicians could not physically smell any gas. Therefore, they inspected the unit with a "sniffer" detector to locate the leak. After the machine detected gas at an approximate distance of 6" from the unit's union, the technicians tightened the union, and retested that joint with no further results of leakage.
Corresponded with [redacted] via email on several occasions. He explained to me that someone in the office said they would pay his gas bill, because he was upset at the loss of gas. Although I did not authorize it, I did tell him would pay for half of the gas bill. I actually paid for the entire gas bill (see attachment). The utility bill is broken up into two sections, gas and electric (please see attachment). This company is not a good place to do business if you have heating or cooling problems. They charged me $135.00 to turned the water heater dial up. Not once when I spoke to the woman did she tell me they charged 135.00. for a diagnostic fee. "Turning the dial on a hot water heater is performing a diagnostic test?" I will call R[redacted] R[redacted] the next time. I have not had any problems with them. The person that Daimion sent out seemed as though he was trying to get over as well. He told me A bunch of b[redacted] c[redacted] about my water heater and by the way I don't need a new one!
