My three children purchased a $120 Gift Certificate for their Mothers Birthday from Michele for Hair and Day Spa. The gift was purchased for the purpose of having her take advantage of their Day Spa services. When she attempted to make an appointment for some Spa services she was advised that they only provide hair care and do not offer Spa services. I went to the business on January 30th and attempted to get a refund but was advised by Michele that they make no refunds for any reason and that no one should be misled because she updated her website two years ago to remove any reference to spa services. This was clearly a lie since a review of their website earlier today states the following: " Our mission at Michele for Hair & Day Spa is to care for the world we live in...to the ways in which we give back to society, at Michele for Hair & Day Spa, we strive to set an example." The only example she sets is to provide deceptive advertising and unfair business practices. Furthermore, her email address is ***. How can she be surprised that anyone might assume that she provides spa services?
