in this day and age, unsolicited house calls come off as creepy I also find it very unprofessional when a company representative doesn't answer the phone in a manner that identifies the business I tried calling the office phone to authenticate the "representative" that showed up at my home unannounced, but there was no answer and their voicemail also did not identify the business this company reeks of shadiness, and I wouldn't want anything to do with them

Included on Side One of the rental agreement terms and conditions is the following:
5. ITEMS(S) FAILURE — You agree immediately to discontinue the attempt to use the rented item(s) should it at any time become unsafe or in a state of disrepair, and will immediately (one hour or less) notify Grand Rental Stations of the facts. Grand Rental Station® agrees in its discretion to make the item(s) operable within a reasonable time, or provide you with a like item if available, or make a like item available at another time, or adjust the rental charges.
We also emphasize this policy on the opposite side of the contract and have the customer initial that they understand it. This is witnessed by Mr. Shields initials here:
Despite Mr. Shields not fulfilling his contractual obligations our customer service respresentitive attempted to work through this problem with him. However, it was their understanding that Mr Shields had completed his job. It was not until his negative review was posted on Facebook that we were aware of an issue that still needed to be resolved. I immediately called Mr. Shields, left him a message, and responded to his Facebook message. Evidence of which can be seen here:

It was not until Tuesday June 24th, 2014 that Mr. Shields called me back. I was unable to take his phone call but immediately (within the hour) returned his call. I listened to his complaint, apologized for the issues, and offered a replacement rental at no charge despite him not reporting the problem. Mr Shields accepted that but stated he could not use the replacement until July 3rd. I have a no charge reservation for him on July 3rd, 2014. I believe this matter to be resolved and would hope that Mr Shields would update this complaint appropriately.
