Mr [redacted] did rent a trencher from us on June 14th, A copy of the executed rental agreement is attached for your records Included on Side One of the rental agreement terms and conditions is the following: ITEMS(S) FAILURE — You agree immediately to discontinue the attempt to use the rented item(s) should it at any time become unsafe or in a state of disrepair, and will immediately (one hour or less) notify Grand Rental Stations of the factsGrand Rental Station® agrees in its discretion to make the item(s) operable within a reasonable time, or provide you with a like item if available, or make a like item available at another time, or adjust the rental charges We also emphasize this policy on the opposite side of the contract and have the customer initial that they understand it This is witnessed by MrShields initials here: Despite MrShields not fulfilling his contractual obligations our customer service respresentitive attempted to work through this problem with himHowever, it was their understanding that Mr Shields had completed his jobIt was not until his negative review was posted on Facebook that we were aware of an issue that still needed to be resolvedI immediately called MrShields, left him a message, and responded to his Facebook messageEvidence of which can be seen here: Brent Shields Rented a trencher which broke and they refused any refund or to provide a new piece of equipment Terrible serviceStay away Like • Comment • Derek Johnson Brent ShieldsI am very sorry that you had a problem last weekendI just left you a messagePlease give me a call at 317-881-would like to attempt to resolve this for youDerek Johnson, VP June at E3pm - Lik It was not until Tuesday June 24th, that MrShields called me backI was unable to take his phone call but immediately (within the hour) returned his callI listened to his complaint, apologized for the issues, and offered a replacement rental at no charge despite him not reporting the problemMr Shields accepted that but stated he could not use the replacement until July 3rdI have a no charge reservation for him on July 3rd, I believe this matter to be resolved and would hope that Mr Shields would update this complaint appropriately Derek Johnson VP Grand Rental Station Office - (317) 881- Cell — (317) 509-
