Review: My 20 year old daughter brought a dress in to be shortened, the business pinned it took the garment and were paid in advance to save 15%. After over a week when she picked up the item and went to wear it the dress was still dragging on the floor, brought the item back they said they would again do the alteration this (one time) when she tried it on and they re-pinned it the length and the lines were crooked and there was at least 4 1/2 inches that still needed to come off to get the garment off the floor. In viewing this poor work before they even took a scissor to it and completely ruin it I requested the money back which they refused. I was told they had already altered it but that is impossible with so much more material having to be taken off and where the alteration needs to be done unless they took the original tag out and resowed it in no work was ever done to this garment. The amount is not much but the point though is they were paid in advance, refuse to return the money and did not perform the work. Now she has to wait even longer to have the garment prepared the correct way in the first pIace. Unfortunately this is a business taking advantage of the economy and saying they are saving you money (15% if paid in advance) then not performing the work and causing more of a hassle and stealing from hard workers.Desired Settlement: Would like to be refunded the $18.50 for work never performed and time and aggravation.
