Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below According to Michele Dry Cleaners Response to my claim this is my response.First of all they stated that it was an old sports jacket How was that determined? It was in excellent condition and was my husband's favorite because it went with everything It was a black and white tweed If Michele Cleaners would show it to you you would see $is not a fair price and we certainly could not replace it for that amount It was purchased at Macy's about years ago and was a beautiful Sports Coat My husband is retired and seldom wears suits or sports coats They said the $was 50% of the value Who determined that? I said we would settle for $knowing that I could not replace it for that amount but trying to be fair since it was not new Because it was not new does not mean it was in bad condition as they stated It was in excellent condition when I gave it to them When I picked it up there were stains all down the front and on both cuffs That was no fault of ours And, what kind of a dry cleaner does not call and tell you that there has been an accident but tries to pawn it off as if we wouldn't know the difference This was not a small stain When I went to pick it up I paid $for the dry cleaning and if it was not in a clear plastic bag we would not even know it was ruined until my husband went to put it on for a holiday party The bottom line is that you know and Michele Cleaners knows you cannot buy a new sports coat for $ No where near it When we finally got to talk to the owner he finally agreed to pay for it but did not have any money at the store Now what kind of a dry Cleaners does not have money to pay a claim He said he would send a check He finally did when he got good and ready and it was half of what we asked for We went back to Macy to buy a new one and found their sports coats ran from $to $ I thought we were more than fair asking for $ Fifty dollars is an insult You can barely buy a shirt for that[redacted] ***

I apologize for the delay in my response I have been out of town I regards to this claim with Michelle Cleaners I am saddened to tell you how they tried to resolve it.After zero response, my phone calls, visits and finally Revdex.com complaint they still wouldn’t get back to us My wife, [redacted] , went to their location in Mayfield and was told that the owner would be back tomorrow so she went back the next day and waitedLiterally sat there until someone arrivedShe waited there for several hours until they agreed to pay us for the curtains and to be reimbursed for the bill which totaled $dollars (we bought them on sale so we have to spend a bit more to buy new onesno Biggy) The man handed my wife a check for the $and when he did the clerk looked at my wife and said quietly “go cash it now” [redacted] immediately went to a local Huntington branch and they would not cash the check this guy gave her a bad check!!! She turned around and went back and demanded payment in cash They told her to come back at noon and they would have cashWhen I was notified of this I met my wife and escorted her up there They had cash in an envelope and had her sign a post it note that she received the money The way this company treated us is unbelievable and I am tempted to contact the authorities about what they tried to do Passing bad checks is feloniousThank you for your time, please find a different dry cleaner to use than Michelle Cleaners ! Called the business (216) 381-on 8/17/at 9:22AM and spoke with Sherry J***MsJ*** indicated this was a very old sport jacket and the consumer was given a certain percentage of the value of the garment. The business uses the
International Fabric Institutes chart to determine the value of a garment and believed the 50% refunded to the consumer was more than fair because of the condition of the garment

I apologize for the delay in my response.  I have been out of town.  I regards to this claim with Michelle Cleaners… I am saddened to tell you how they tried to resolve it.After zero response, my phone calls, visits and finally Revdex.com complaint they still wouldn’t get back to us.  My wife, [redacted], went to their location in Mayfield and was told that the owner would be back tomorrow so she went back the next day and waited. Literally sat there until someone arrived. She waited there for several hours until  they agreed to pay us for the curtains and to be reimbursed for the bill which totaled $300 dollars (we bought them on sale so we have to spend a bit more to buy new ones.. no Biggy).  The man handed my wife a check for the $300 and when he did the clerk looked at my wife and said quietly…  “go cash it now”…..[redacted] immediately went to a local Huntington branch and they would not cash the check..  this guy gave her a bad check!!!   She turned around and went back and demanded payment in cash.  They told her to come back at noon and they would have cash. When I was notified of this I met my wife and escorted her up there.  They had 300 cash in an envelope and had her sign a post it note that she received the money.  The way this company treated us is unbelievable and I am tempted to contact the authorities about what they tried to do.  Passing bad checks is felonious. Thank you for your time,  please find a different dry cleaner to use than Michelle Cleaners…! [redacted]

According to Michele Dry Cleaners Response to my claim this is my response.First of all they stated that it was an old sports jacket.  How was that determined?  It was in excellent condition and was  my husband's favorite because it went with everything.  It was a black and white tweed.  If Michele Cleaners would show it to you you would see $50 is not a fair price and we certainly could not replace it for that amount.   It was purchased at Macy's about 4  years ago and was a beautiful Sports Coat.  My husband is retired and seldom wears suits or sports coats.  They said the $50 was 50% of the value.   Who determined that?  I said we would settle for $110 knowing that I could not replace it for that amount but trying to be fair since it was not new.    Because it was not new does not mean it was in bad condition as they stated.  It was in excellent condition when I gave it to them.  When I picked it up there were stains all down the front and on both cuffs.  That was no fault of ours.  And, what kind of a dry cleaner does not call and tell you that there has been an  accident but tries to pawn it off as if we wouldn't know the difference.  This was not a small stain.  When I went to pick it up I paid  $5 for the dry cleaning and if it was not in a clear plastic bag  we would not even know it was ruined until my husband went to put it on for a holiday party.  The bottom line is that you know and Michele Cleaners knows you cannot buy a new sports coat for $50.  No where near it.   When we finally got to talk to the owner he finally agreed to pay for it but did not have any money at the store.  Now what kind of a dry Cleaners does not have money to pay a claim.  He said he would send a check.  He finally did when he got good and ready and it was half of what we asked for.   We went back to Macy to buy a new one and found their sports coats ran from $300 to $500.    I thought we were more than fair asking for $110.  Fifty dollars is an insult.  You can barely buy a shirt for that.[redacted]
