Dear Sir/Madam: This is in response to a complaint regarding a refunding of premium and backdating of a cancellation from 4-21-to 8-2-17. As you are aware this was escalated to the highest level of complaint departments within *** *** Corporate. It is *** ***’s practice to
backdate a maximum of days because in fact, coverage was provided to the client. Had a loss occurred *** *** contractually would have been obligated to pay that loss. *** *** Corporate has denied the clients request request. That being said I have sent in an appeal to see if they will make an exception. Our office is very detailed and we have time stamped notes of conversations had, but with everything going on in this clients life ( death, marriage, etc) at the time of desired cancellation and the dec sheets that she sent us I am hopeful that Corporate will make an exception. I have not made any promised, but I am doing everything within my power to help get it taken care of. As soon as I hear back from corporate, I will be in touch All the Best, Michelle Twitchell
