I am at a loss for words in regards to this company's customer service and lack of compassion for its customers My fiancee and I just purchased a historic home in Monroe, and they told us that the earliest they could come out and switch the gas over to our name was three weeks from the day that we called to arrange an appointment Although nobody was able to come out to switch the gas over to our name, it was no problem for them to come out and turn the gas off without notifying us! I called twice asking them to please put themselves in our shoes and consider what it would be like to live without gas in this cold weather, and I asked what suggestions they offered for my children and I for the below freezing weather that is approaching The customer service representative responded, "Well, you could always use heater blankets." In addition to our discomfort, I am fearful of pipes freezing and causing thousands of dollars in damage due to their inability to put themselves in somebody else's shoes I can not even believe that some strings could not have been pulled to send a technician out for five minutes to turn the gas on I asked to speak with the supervisor, and they said, "it will take anywhere from to hours to hear back from a supervisor." Needless to say, I am still waiting Their website boasts on their front page about how they work with their clients as "good Samaritans" who "spread goodwill by helping friends and neighbors keep their heat on" They have no compassion and no strive for going above and beyond for this community
