We are happy to serve our tenants, abiding by our lease agreement and applicable local/state/federal lawsWhen the tenant moved out of the rental unit, he left it in extremely poor condition (see attached photos)The tenant left dozens of
large boxes and trash items throughout the rental unitAdditionally, there were adhesive strips stuck to the stairwell carpetNext, there was a mesh cloth stapled to the side of the stairsNext, there were nail holes, staples and large scrapes in the drywall and trim that needed repairedIn addition, the tenant completely soiled the kitchenall the appliances and drawers had food and kitchen items remaining in themThere were child safety locks still glued to the cabinetsNext, there were numerous decals stuck to the bedroom wallsThere were also items left throughout the basement including a bed frame, a medicine ball and a large amount of trashIn addition to all of this the entire rental unit required an enormous amount of cleaningIn the end, it required more than the tenant's *** security deposit to make the necessary repairs in order to bring the rental unit back to its original conditionWe mailed a letter to the tenant, describing the repairsIf the tenant had left the apartment in the same shape that he found it when he moved in, we would have gladly refunded his security deposit
