The customer brought in a Letterman jacket to put patches . When she brought the jacket in, we marked the location of the patches, pinned the other patches in the correct spot. I explained to her that there was only a certain area on the sleeves that I could stitch patches and I placed
tape on that sleeve to mark the spot. I had to order the volleyball patches, which I ordered in October. Due to the salesperson leaving that company, my patches were not ordered. Having issues with that company until the end of November, I reordered the patches. I didn't receive the patches until January 16th. I explained to the customer that I didn't have the patches and explained the situation. She told me the date she wanted the jacket and I tried to oblige, but without the patches, I could not. I did explain to her each time I spoke to her that I didn't have the volleyball patches in. When she came in to get the jacket I was sewing on the patch for basketball and the patches she brought in to be sewn on. She was upset that it wasn't ready and I explained to her that I had still been waiting on the patches to come in before I worked on itI had several jackets to work on that I do embroidery on and I do the patches when all the patches are in to complete the jacket. I tried to explain to her. When I gave her and her daughter the jacket, she remarked about the # sign not on the patch. I apologized and explained that I didn't realize that it was to be added to the number. Most students just want the number. She commented on the placement of that particular patch and said that it was to be lower. I told her that we had marked the placement on the jacket with tape, when she brought the jacket in. She said that she didn't recall doing thatI explained that the reason for that placement was because I didn't have the capability of sewing that far down on the sleeveThe placement of the other patches were sewn on exactly where she and I had pinned them. She never commented on those patches at all. She wanted me to fix the patch on the sleeve and I explained that because of the sleeve being leather, it would leave holes and I couldn't fix that problem. I asked here what she would like me to do to fix it. I told her that if she wanted me to put the # on the patch, I would take it off, fix it and replace to the jacket in the same spot. She asked her daughter and her daughter said it was ok because she didn't want it to have holes. I have a small business that I take great pride in. I have been embroidering for years. I do all the embroidery myself and have tried to please the customer. I have a couple employees who help with phone calls and other parts of my business. I try to call customers back in a timely manner. I come in and stay late to try to accommodate customers. If a customer is not happy, I try to fix the problem. She was just upset and paid me for sewing patches and the basketball patch and told me she would not be back and she left

The customer and I marked the sleeve with tape and that is exactly where I sewed the patch. Sewing on leather will leaves holesI did offer to correct the patch with the # and the customer declinedI apologized for the mistake and feel that I tried to correct the situation. The wait time is due to me not having the volleyaball patches inI will refund the customer $for that patchThe remainder was paid to see on other patches

I am rejecting her responses due to the numerous inaccuracies and fabrications of the truth. She NEVER marked any area of the jacket when we were giving her the instructions as to how my daughter wanted the jacket. With her "so called" years of experience she should able to understand that we SPECIFICALLY" told her NOT to put the patch on the elbow! The incapability of her equipment OR her work load is not our problem and if she wasn't going to be able to do the job the way we wanted and was PAID to do so she should have never taken on the job. Which brings me to another part of her response, when we requested the "#" sign in on the patch it was what my daughter wanted (she acknowledges this in her response). NOT what other students had put on their jacket! We didn't ask for her opinion or her to take it upon herself to do it how she wanted it done!!! When we took the jacket to A REAL PROFESSIONAL the patch was removed from the spot Michaela had incorrectly placed it. It didn't lave any holes! So apparently in years she still doesn't have this knowledge. She obviously DO NOT UNDERSTAND the concept that she is being paid to do a job the way the CUSTOMER WANTS it done! NOT the way she wants it done. She at the very least owes me the $she SHOULD HAVE never accepted for not doing the patch it was suppose to and making us wait for a month for the jacket that she did correct in the first place!!! In talking with other people in our community, I am not the only person to have this problem! Regards.*** ***
