Review: My mother in law went for a consultation,at the end of the consultation they asked for a credit card so they could order the product she had selected, they asked her to sign what she thought was the approval for the credit card charge which in fact ended up being a contract. After she arrived home she relized it was a contract and called saying she did not relize it was a contract and to please cancel it. They failed to tell her that she needed to cancel the contract in writing and are now holding her to the contract. My mother in law is 75 and [redacted] no one from this establishment took the time to make sure she fully understood what the process was or what she was signing. I would like them to refund her money and destroy the contact.Desired Settlement: Destroy the contract and refund her money.

As of July [redacted] 2013, [redacted] returned to our New York location salon for a follow up consultation appointment, so that we may go over her contract with a translator present. During the consultation, with the translator, we reviewed the contract for a second time and presented [redacted] with her custom ordered hair. She then approved her hair order and issued a letter, in both English and Spanish, stating that she would like to retract her complaint with the Revdex.com.

O:n the same day that [redacted]'s received an overview of her contract and follow up consultation, as well as approving her customized hair order, she had the Microdot process applied and was beyond satisfied with the application.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have been to this establishment on 5 different occasions; The first was on July [redacted] after that appointment is when I filed my complaint. Upon returning to the salon on July [redacted] I had the contract explained to me in Spanish which I appreciated and decided to move forward with the procedure, after the hair was installed I was very satisfied and signed the paper retracting my original complaint. The next morning when I got up I noticed that the right side of my cut that they provided was longer than the left side, I called them and went back on 7-**-13 so they could fix the cut, 3 days later I washed my hair and noticed that the hair was loose so I once again called to go in. I went on 7-**-13 so that they could look at the loosening hair, I was then told by the owner that my hair was very fine and that I would continue to have this problem that I should have gone with the Clip and then he walked away and [redacted] finished up with me and the clip was not brought up again. If my hair was to fine they should have recognized this at the first appointment and explained that at that time. So I submitted in writing as stated in my contract and faxed to their office within the 14 day time period to look at my other options. They called me and set me up a time to come in on 7-**-13, I met with the owner that was very short and made the comment that I had already been several times for free and if I were to come back in I would have to pay the salon rates at which time they presented me with a flyer outlining their costs which I had not been given or seen prior to this appointment, not to mention that I was back in there due to the poor work they had done, at this time they also went over the option of the clip.

Prior to going to this establishment I did not where a wig I wore a clip and this clip attached to my hair very simple, this clip attaches but then you have to pull the hair through holes to get it to stay I am 75 years old and cannot pull hair through holes so this is not an option for me, so at this point and time given the fact that I seem to get information after the fact and do not believe that they have not been honest in their business practices I would like to get a potion of my money refunded and severe my ties with this establishment and pictures of their work can be provided if needed.
