Review: I am contacting you in hopes of help. I attended Micro Powers Career Institute Feb. 2014 and was told I would become a certified dental assistant with certificate and the school has closed. They left no information, I have not received any certificates and left with a large debt with financial aide. The school was under investigation with the IRS and multiple departments due to all this fraud. The school was closed at that time and no information was given. I only new from what was on the news, I have been paying back my financial aide but have no certificate and never finished the program in full with all my paper work. I cannot contact the school via e-mail, written snail mail or telephone. they have closed up with no further information. I am not sure what to do about this situation. I have all my paper work from school went threw my classes and did ny internship and that was all not certificate that I completed the program and they were to pay for my dental assistant certification which was part of the tuition and job placement also. Please help and direct me.Desired Settlement: I would like to be reimbursed for my tuition or receive all my certificates and certificates and job placement I was promised. At this time I am afraid to even tell an employer I attended Micro Powers because of all the things on the news

Review: Went to the school for a certificate in networking only because the course advertised included Comptia A+, Network+, Security+, Project , CCNA and Microsoft Server 2008 Netwoork and infrastructure Window 7 Configuration Nd Active directory. The course started with a full roster however the course was not well organized. Some of the courses was rushed through and some of the courses was not covered at all. The teacher was not professional who later quit so we were without a teacher for a month or so. Because of the course not being the modules that were considered important to me was not covered. Courses that had to do with a lot of practical hands I. Work was not do e because the school did not have a proper environment for simulation. At the end of the few modules covers the level of prepared was to successfully take exams was severely low. At the end were time was promised to make up classes that were not covered and was promised was never given. The class attendance which started as 12 were now only 3. However with all that the school issued no refund or adjustment to my loans for modules not covered In Their syllabus. To me they do a lot of false advertising and is only interested in only the money part of their business most of their tea chefs and staff are unprofessional and are only nice when trying to get you inDesired Settlement: I think they should not be allowed to charge for services not provided
