On Monday June 4th, our hotel experienced some technical issuesAs a result of the technical issue the computer was indicating we had room available that in fact we did notMr*** booked rooms that morning with my front desk agent via the telephoneHe later came and claimed his room
and stated he would get the others later that eveningAround pm we became aware of the overbooking of rooms and it did in fact effect Mr***'s reservationsI personally tried to reach him and was unable toI left him a message asking him to call me at the propertyI stayed on property until around pm in hopes to speak with him directlyShortly after I arrived home I received a call from the property stating that the guest wanted to speak with meI did my best to explain the situation to himI apologized for the inconvenience, told him that I would set him and his students up at my sister property for their stay and that I would cover the expense of their first nightHe stated that he had student drivers and that was to farI explain that I was sorry but their was nothing more I could offerI explained that I would not charge him for the room he had occupied earlier that day seeing that he needed to be with his students.When he checked in early that morning his card was authorized for the full stay of the one roomHowever, I release all of those funds back to the guest and he was not charged by us.

Unauthorized charges to my credit card from this location
I called on the first week of January to make reservations for the 15th of FebruaryI was going to be there to visit my Mother in Tishomingo for a surpriseI was told to reserve a room I had to give a card number(which I haven't had to do in the past....and have stayed there for the last three years) I was hesitant due to never being asked this and let them know....I was told they could not reserve a room without a cardI stated I did not want my card charged They assured there would be no charges on the cardIt was just to reserve the room and when I checked in I could pay with cash
On JANUARY I was viewing my checking account information and noticed a charge from microtel for 87$I immediately called and was greeted by a woman that started the conversation that she was new
I let her know and she said she would call the manager and call me back She called me back within minutes and said she had called

Here at General Automatic Transmission we strive to deliver the up most quality repair work by using only OEM parts whenever feasible. However, due to issues such as affordability, timing,availability and such. we find it necessary to explore other avenues, and at times this may lead to a dead end!...

It is not our desire, nor has it ever been, to introduce the usage of used parts from the junkyards! IT is within Texas Law to use such, and many if not most auto repair shops do, but we choose the higher road and maintain our integrity! In the case of Mr. [redacted] yes we could have done this to expedite his repair quicker but the downside is much less quality and longevity and we would find ourself in this same position of answering a Revdex.com response but obviously for different reasons! We Proudly stand by our decision in holding out for new parts produced by Chrysler and under  the Leadership of [redacted] at the time of production! We understand the frustration that befell upon Mr. [redacted], however, his allegations of lies and mistrust etc etc. are incorrect, unfounded and extremely inflammatory! WE went the extra mile for this gentleman in explaining the problems he can and will encounter by the use of foreign 3rd party parts in his vehicle! Example 1, is the clutch kit that was installed by previous shop! It was a third party Clutch assembly produced by China sold by Autozone and installed by an unprofessional which set us back 3 days in delivering this vehicle back to Mr. [redacted]! Any CERTIFIED Transmission Tech or Automotive Tech would Never install such a part in this circumstance because in being certified we have info from the manufacturer that we would not be privy to otherwise! There are explicit service bulletins forewarning the use of non-oem parts on this vehicle yet Mr. [redacted] chose to ignore such warnings and chose to use this aftermarket clutch! we provided as a courtesy the labor to remove this wrong clutch after the fact! Yet Mr. [redacted] chose to install the same clutch from Autozone and was told this would be a mistake! Yes, there were availability and time constraint issues on receiving the Right parts,but he, as well as all of our customers,are told this before any repairs are started in this way: Barring any unforeseen  New Parts availability issues we can only estimate the completion time! Mr. [redacted] was told the exact same thing and we have some vehicles here for more than 2 months on certain parts issues and for the most part, most people understand! His accusations of deceit and fraud  could fester into defamation litigation from us! which can be backed up by dozens and dozens of satisfied repeat and new customers!

Responding to ID# [redacted]!We have returned said vehicle back to consumer with transmission newly overhauled! However, this vehicle is not road ready! There are many many DTC (diagnostic trouble codes) still in the system that make reprogramming of the TCM (transmission control module) imposible!...

There are numerous faulty modules IE; pcm, ucm,abs, tpms, anti-racft, jrs, that need to be corrected to enable a clear communication process from the tcm back to the pcm! In short, consumer will need to invest further monies to other areas of this vehicle to ensure a correct repair! our warranty as in most transmission rebuilds including the nation's largest chain- Ammco cover the transmission internally only! The parts we worked on to repair or replace on a rebuild or overhaul! as a courtesy we spend many more hours after our reports to the transmission trying to achieve communication through the electrical system but we were unsuccessful! This vehicle came in with *86 Codes Problem DTC's Some Current Some pending Some history 15 is hot/ 25-30 unheard of! We were able to clear approx. 29 of these with our repair to the transmission! but other mechanical work needs to be done before vehicle is safe and road ready. By the way the odometer reads 30800 miles + and is cosmetically rough! We paid for in repair hot damage to the vehicle which we alone were at fault. No police report necessary on private property! This issues would have to be corrected in order for us to warranty (unknown word)! We have agreed to return vehicle to costumer and write off existing balance on reports to transmission. [I do not see where contacting the property manager is a solution to my problem when he just continues to accuse and argue with me over something that I DID NOT DO. If talking to the manager would have worked the first time, I would not have had a reason to contact the Revdex.com regarding this incident. I am really trying to avoid legal action in order to get my money back that was STOLEN from my account by this company. I am so tempted to go to social media and expose this place for the scam they are running on customers, especially those from out-of-state. It is sad that a business would have to resort to such criminal behavior. I would just like to get my $150 back and never ever visit this corrupt hotel or Bowling Green, Kentucky itself ever again. The business practice of this privately owned business is deplorable and it is so sad that I have to go through all of this headache to get my money back. Please let me know if we need to go to small claims court. I am tired of going back and forth with this and getting nowhere. All I want is my $150 refunded. That is the only resolution that will satisfy me.

Request to reopen - Jan 20, 2017This is my second attempt at reporting this business. My issue was never resolved. I am from Ohio and I went to Kentucky to visit a friend. I stayed overnight at this Microtel in Bowling Green, KY. I was accused of stealing an alarm clock and was charged $150 to my debit card that they had on file. They reported me to the police and harrassed me about bring an alarm clock back.....which I DID NOT STEAL. I told them to check their hotel staff because I dont steal and have absolutely no use for an alarm clock. I am insulted by this allegation and feel that this is some type of scam and I was targeted because I am from another state. This hotel stole my money from my card so they are the REAL thiefs. I'm sure they also put an insurance claim out on this "stolen" clock and thus committed insurance fraud (because they stole $150 from me to colver the cost of the "stolen" clock). I would like the hotel investigated for this scam on customers and I want my money back.I want an apology for the accusation. I want this hotel scam investigated and I want my $150 back asap.
