This is in response to case ID#*** ***An apology with deep empathy and regret was told to the guest verbally and a complete refund issued as wellShe’s told her story to several outlets, (sites)I have issued an apology on everyone as wellNo one could have predicted

I am rejecting this response because:Like I
stated before, I was NEVER given a refund like he is sayingI am just
completely appalled that someone could lie to a customer who, likely would have
returned if the situation would have been
handled correctly, and then lie to other people saying that a refund was given
then going as far as creating fake documents to “support” his lies
First, in
his last response he claims that I have posted my "claim on several sites
without calling and asking if he'd changed his mind," why would I have to
call and ask him to change his mind if,
in the first conversation I had with him, he agreed to give me a full refund
once I’d talked to Hotels.com then tell the man and Hotels.com that he’d never
heard of this situation?! Yes, I posted my review of my experience to multiple
sites because I don’t want other people to stay here and then have to go
through the same thing I’m having to go through
Second, the
document he provided is completely fraudulent! I do not, nor have I ever, owned
an American Express, so I don’t know where he got that information or the last
digits of a cardThe amounts that he provided for my nightly rate and tax,
on the document he provided, are completely different from what I actually paid
When I left the hotel, I was never given a receipt and when I asked for one, I
was told that since I booked through Hotels.com and paid in advance, that was
my receiptWhen I look at my bank account, there is nothing showing that
Microtel Inn & Suites NOR Hotels.com ever put any money back into my
account, only the one charge of what I
actually paid for my hotel stay
If I need to
provide documents of my account I will but I’d rather not share information
about my bank account as long as the hotel manager can see themI have,
however, attached my receipt of my hotel expense showing what kind of card I
paid with, the nightly rate, and the taxes

I don’t know who the representative was she spoke to the second time regarding this issueThe initial gentleman I spoke with from Hotel.com, was told not to charge the guest based on her experience hereI gave her a very sincere apology and a full and complete refund after she coordinated with HotelCom and they contacted meI have never said (no), or I wouldn’t grant her a refundShe’s continually made that claim on several sites without calling and asking me, if I’d changed my mind or reconsidered what I had stated in our original resolution to this issueI have never gone back on my word and as you can see on this attachmentA full refund was granted as promisedAt this point, I wish this soliloquy to be over and all parties heal and move onIf I am needed for anything further, I can gladly be reached at the hotel Thank you and God Bless *** *** Manager Microtel Inn & Suites *** ***
