I did crawl under the car to snap a piece back in not to break it, and it is in place properlyThe customer is concerned of the repairs being doneI do not believe he fully understood what the repairs wereHe was working with [redacted] insurance but they denied him all of his claims so he decided to go through the other insurance carrierI believe he thought everything was supposed to be new, but insurance had parts that were being repaired, not replacedWe are working off the insurance estimate as we shouldHe did come to us and we explained we did the work we were supposed toHe had an issue and was complaining about paint on the hood and fender and them not matchingThis had nothing to do with any work we didI told him there is nothing we can do here everything looks good on our endIf he had an issue he would have to call his insuranceHe started cursing at my employee and I told him he would not speak to us that way and handed him his papers and told him to contact his insurance and if the insurance company wanted to have us do more work, we would be more than happy to

To Whom It May Concern:This letter is in responds to *** ***’s complaintAttached is a copy of the work Mid America Collision completed as directed by the insurance company,*** *** ***. The insurance company approved repairs to a small chip in the middle of the hood. The area was repaired and painted then the entire hood was clear coated. This repair would not cause any color discrepancies between hood and fenders. The rear bumper, both rear lamp assemblies, and the left lamp bezel were all replaced with OEM parts, not aftermarket parts figured by the insurance company. We also replaced all tires. Mr*** first went through his insurance, ***, and they denied that the accident caused the body lines on the vehicle to be out of speck. Then he filed a claim with *** ***, we repaired the vehicle per their estimate. If there is legitimate problem with a repair we completed we are more than willing to fix that repair. We do not believe that the vehicle is in worse shape now than before any repairs were completed. We would be willing to have a representative from *** *** *** go over the repairs with Mr*** and our shop manager. Until then we will not be refunding Mr*** for any of the repairs

I am rejecting this response because:the hood would be different in the locations that work would have been performed compared to the rest of the hood, but is notthe entire hood is wrongbody parts where not installed correctly and body lines are off.

decided to go through the other insurance carrier. I believe he thought everything was supposed to be new, but insurance had parts that were being repaired, not replaced. We are working off the insurance estimate as we should. He did come to us and we explained we did the work we were supposed to. He had an issue and was complaining about paint on the hood and fender and them not matching. This had nothing to do with any work we did.
