Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:When I found out from the suppliers, only on the back ordered items, there was nothing from Mid America or anythingordered with my name or theirs I was outragedWeeks passed with no wordNo communication.What I was told was on backorder were sitting and available at the supplier and they went out shortly after I made my own arrangements.No one has contacted me which is the common thread throughout this entire process.Feel free to have a person in a decision making capacity contact me Sincerely, Dr [redacted]

Dr*** placed an order with Mid America Motorworks (MAM) on 5/8/17, 5/18/and 6/26/The items that were in stock, shipped out within hours as any order wouldThe items that were placed on backorder (BO) would be shipped as they become available from our supplier or are
available and in stock, from our distribution center (DC)• On 5/18, employee *** Msend an email with a list of items on order • On 6/19, employee *** Mspoke with the customer about returning an item that was mislabeled (item no, 379-508) • On 6/26, employee Jen Sspoke with the customer for over one hour regarding items that were on BO and provided shipping times for orders: 07823773, *** and *** • On 6/28, MAM was notified to “REVOKE payments source” via email • On 7/2, Customer posted YELP review • On 7/6, MAM received an email from Dr*** stating “You are herby placed on notice…” At some point during these conversations, the customer contacted “all of our suppliers” and quoted that all parts are in stock and available to ship and that they (suppliers) had not received anything (PO) from MAMWe deal with over 1,suppliers on cars that in most cases, are years or olderWe also deal with suppliers who do not old PO’s that have BO’s on themThey typically wait until all items are in stock and ship to our DC or directly to the customerI firmly believe that certain items were in stock, but not allWhen that is the case, the supplier normally holds our orders until a sizeable amount is shippedI firmly believe that to be the case hereOn 7/11, MAM contacted the customer via email: Dr***, Thank you for staying in touch with us on your ordersI understand your concerns and will address themAll your Back Order items on orders with Mid America are cancelled : *** (item *** Kick Panels, Item *** Radio, and Item *** Radio Face Plate), *** (Item *** Alum Tape, Item *** Door panels, Item *** Emergency Red Insert, and Item *** Headliner, Items *** and *** Seat Tracks, and ***, ***, and *** Pro-SEATS), and *** (Item *** Mirror)We do not expect payment on the Back Order PaymentsAnd, they were cancelledSince those were not shipped, you were not chargedNo shipments are scheduled, since you have nothing left on your ordersWe would like to address any complaints with you direct, if you are open to discussingWe are extremely sorry for any communication confusions with your businessThis is not our standard we expect of our employees and the business processes we have worked hard to put in placePlease let us know how we can do betterYour experience may provide us with a new training directionAny advice you can offer, we would be honored to hearThank you kindly for sharing--- end of email --- On 7/11, the customer contacted MAM stating that he is in receipt of our email and would welcome someone contacting him, if there were to be a monetary resolutionFrom my understanding, no one has contacted the customer after this emailUnfortunately, it did take us some time to contact the customerBetween the holiday (7/4) and having a sales manager who was out of the office, it took us too long to respondThat’s our fault and we will gladly acknowledgeHowever, the items that were in stock, shippedThe items that were on BO, were placed on a PO and issued in the correct amount of timeThis is a family business going on years and into our third generationWe did not get this far by treating customers poorly or not issuing PO’s to fulfill customer’s ordersWe certainly wish the order was handled in a way that was mutually beneficial for partiesAt this point, the customer has paid for all items that he has receivedItems that were on BO have been canceled and the customer’s account reflects thatRespectfully, *** *** **

I am rejecting this response because: Your catalog indicates a 2 year warranty. I ordered a wheel and when I took it to [redacted] Chevrolet for installation and they said it was too small and I returned it. I asked for the correct wheel be sent directly to [redacted] Chevrolet. The invoice does not indicate a 1 year warranty. I want the rim replaced or a refund with the shipping fee.
