Mid America Service was originally contacted by the customer on 4/2/because their ice machine had quit making ice after they
had taken the unit apart to clean itThe technician found the cutter grid was physically brokenThe cutter grid was replaced on 4/20/and the customer paid for the repair including the service call, parts and laborThe customer then contacted us back on 4/22/stating it was making too much iceA technician was sent back out, free of charge, to diagnose and had to order a pc boardThe part was replaced on 5/11/and the customer paid for the part and tax only for this repair, no labor or service call was chargedThe customer contacted us back the next day, 5/12/15, stating the unit was still making too much ice and also informed us they had stopped payment of their checkWe set up another appointment with the customer which they later cancelledThe customer has now rescheduled the appointment with us and are currently on schedule for 5/26/
Mid America Service stands by their work and warranties the work performed for daysAt this time there is no refund to be made since the customer has stopped payment on their check

Mid-America came back out yesterdayThis makes the 6th time they have been to our house to repair our ice-makerThey removed the new mother board and replaced it with supposedly the old oneIt makes me wonder why they still had the old one if it was badBottom line is that after six attempts the ice maker still is not workingMy wife needs to take off work each time they come to repair itThey give you a five hour window they may show up

On February 9th we sent a technician via the custoemr's contract company to check out the customer's oven complaintsThe tech tested unit and right two burners spark properlyLeft two burners would not spark at allUnit cooktop is full of food and greaseAlso bake igniter is pulling low amps Called *** technical assistance on the unit because *** *** shut the units gas supply offStated unit us giving out 20ppm of carbon monoxideCust has not kept up on general cleaning of the unit causing issues with the burners not lighting properlyAll burner burner assy needs to be replacedAlso burner heads and tops needs to be replacedSpoke with *** at *** and he stated since unit has not been kept up to conditionUnit burners would create small amounts of carbon from weak flames*** stated consumer max output unit is within toleranceTook and sent pictures to *** technical assistance as wellCustomer's *** file *** Contacted the customer's contract company with the technician's findings

This is response to the complaint from Ms. [redacted] L [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] has several complaints about our company, Mid America...

Service.
Ms. [redacted] is complaining she has missed six days of work because of us when my company has only been to her home twice. On 8/26/15, my technician was out to diagnose her washer and ordered a timer and a lid switch. He returned on 9/11/15 and installed the parts and ran the unit through a test cycle and the unit was operating fine at that time.
Ms. [redacted] did call us back on 9/17/15 stating the washer would not start. The dispatcher set up an appointment for 9/18/15, however I cancelled this appointment because she told the dispatcher we have been out six times and its still not fixed and if we do not fix it on this trip she will "go crazy" on the technician. I am not going to put my technician in the position to be abused by a customer.
Ms. [redacted] claims she was hung up on, however after the appointment was cancelled, she was the one who disconnected the call after she threatened to turn us into the Revdex.com and post bad reviews online on a daily basis about our company.
Ms. [redacted] also is stating she paid our company $75.00 when she has not paid Mid America Service any money. She must have paid this to the first company that was out. If she is requesting a refund she would need to contact whichever company it was that she paid.
I reached out to the home warranty company, 2-10 Home Buyers, today to see what the status was for Ms. [redacted] and was informed Sears was not able to schedule a fast enough appointment for her and Ms. [redacted] was informed she would have to locate a service company of her choosing because they do not have any other servicers to send.
Mid America Service reserves the right to refuse service especially if the customer is threatening.

food and grease. Also bake igniter is pulling low amps 2.7. Called Frigidaire technical assistance on the unit because [redacted] shut the units gas supply off. Stated unit us giving out 20ppm of carbon monoxide. Cust has not kept up on general cleaning of the unit causing issues with the burners not lighting properly. All burner burner assy needs to be replaced. Also burner heads and tops needs to be replaced. Spoke with [redacted] at Frigidaire and he stated since unit has not been kept up to condition. Unit burners would create small amounts of carbon from weak flames. [redacted] stated consumer max output unit is within tolerance. Took and sent pictures to Frigidaire technical assistance as well. Customer's Frigidaire file XXXXXXXX. Contacted the customer's contract company with the technician's findings.
We are not the company that the customer is now working with. His contract company sent out another company for a second opinion. This customer has us confused with another service company. I recommend that he calls his contract company to find out who is working on his oven right now.

on 8/26/2014 because it was weak and not circulating the water well enough and also cleared soap residue out of the spray arms. Mid America Service was then contacted a second time on 9/11/2014 and when the appointment was scheduled, the customer was informed that if we came out and did not find any problem/fault with the dishwasher then she would owe $45.00 because the extended warranty company, [redacted] Solutions, would not cover it. She scheduled with us and the technician was out on 9/12/2014. At that time, the dishwasher was running properly. The motor and circulation all were normal and had great pressure and all spray arms were operating normally. The customer did however have some glasses laid out that were milky. The technician explained to the customer, running these dishes through the dishwasher with normal detergent is not going to clean the etched on cloudiness. Mrs. [redacted] refused to pay the $45.00 so we billed the extended warranty company, [redacted] and they rejected the claim. The customer was then billed. Mrs. [redacted] is looking for Mid America Service to cover the cost of this diagnosis or the cost of a new unit however it is not our responsibility to do so. Mrs. [redacted]'s complain needs to be directed at [redacted] Solutions who is the holder of the warranty. [redacted] Solutions is the one who has rejected the claim and considering Mrs. [redacted] was instructed she would be charged if no fault were found then she is responsible to pay for the service. As with any company, unpaid bills are sent to a collection agency.
