Review: There are multiple issues all surrounding desertion of projects both incomplete and not done at all. The first main issue is 12/2013 I paid for roof shingles $2500 and $2262.29 for 50% of labor and nothing is done to date. Second Hall bathroom degutted and charged me $4000 for plumbing subcontractor which ended up only being $$1207.68. I received a letter from plumber who was going to put a lien on my house as this contractor never paid them. Also this bathroom cost $13,298.95 and seams are cracking and he never recorked this area. Third master bathroom new sink installed and he never recorked around sink, also same bathroom had new door installed and was suppose to be painted white and there are black marks of edge of door that was never fixed. Fourth upstairs hallway had carpet removed, sanded floor, stained floor but never put borders around edge of floor. Fifth downstairs bathroom had new door installed and was narrower than previous door and was suppose to be painted around door which was not done. Also same bathroom was to have new shutters installed and never done. Sixth Office was suppose to have same drop ceiling for entire ceiling but he placed two different types of ceiling tiles which was not authorized by me. He also did not complete work. Heated floor with flooring done but second coat was not placed. he also did not finish covering wiring segment nor paint around doorway. Seventh Exterior painting was to have two coats of paint and he did not even finish first coat from December, 2013. Also he charged me $625.96 when paint actually cost $335.79. I had told him I would pick up the rest of the paint the next day (12/5/13) I originally picked up as much as they had on 12/4/13. The painting of the house is poorly done at best as they did not properly prepare areas that were damaged.I was using Duration paint which is not cheap. I have a spread sheet with all data and copies of all payments made for each job.Desired Settlement: This is hard to determine especially with the partial work done or improperly done. At least the roof needs to be reimbursed. My plan is to get a lawyer to help determine rest. I have filed a Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation complaint as well.
