To Whom It May Concern:Attached is the information regarding the debt for ID [redacted]. The customer was given the opportunity to pay the debt before it was sent to [redacted] but refused. Once it was sent to [redacted] she told them she had paid the debt but we did not have record of...

it and reported that information. Valley's request letter was mailed and dated 3/4/15 and I immediately responded on 3/9/15.Payment was mailed to us rather than [redacted] and posted to her account on 3/12/15. It did not clear her account on 3/5/15 because we didn't take the check to the bank until 3/18/15. Normally our IT department runs a monthly report to try to catch payments that have come directly to us instead of the collection agency. I am unable to find where they reported to me that we received this payment therefore the collection agency was not notified promptly. I am investigating why this happened.On February 3, 2016 [redacted] again sent a notice that the customer claims she paid the debt. I promptly replied to their request by email dated 2/9/16 letting [redacted] know that the debt had been paid. There has been no communication from [redacted] or the customer between March of last year until recently. I was unaware there was any problem.I'm sorry for the frustration that our customer has experienced. I have responded quickly to all requests made. There aren't any other records with whom she may have dealt with. This matter was already resolved of by the time of her conversation with “Company” on 2/18/16 and 2/21/16 so that should have been conveyed to her.Sincerely,
