We purchased a 2007 [redacted] for full asking price $6995 within 6 days of purchase the vehicle was making a grinding sound, my husband knew it was the brakes, we called The dealer and he said it was not under warranty. We took it to a mechanic and he called us down to shop and showed us brakes, all four needed to be done. We're completely rusted out. $600 . We have receipt.we went to talk to him to see if he'd even pay half he said no, I said this us a safety concern and you should be held accountable. He would not comprise. Couple weeks later we noticed a large leak under the vehicle, called him and he said to bring it in, by end of the day he said to pick it up and was 'fixed'. Was cooler day so no need for AC, couple days later go to use AC and it's not working, we figured just needed charging, took it to mechanic and as we are standing there he opens hood and starts to kind of chuckle and said your AC is just unplugged. We thought finally some good news, he plugs it back in and it starts screeching, very loud. He said whoever unplugged it did it intentionally these plugs don't just come apart, he checks it all out and it is a $1800 fix, we didn't fix it as it was to much and felt like this was serious and we need to go back to dealer, the defrost will not work properly in winter if not fixed also, brakes and defrost are a huge safety concern because our son is driving this vehicle. He accused us of unplugging it, I said why would we do that. When we purchased vehicle it had weird smell, bought odour absorber and that helped, noticed stain on ceiling and didn't think anything of it, got a rainfall and go in vehicle and its soaked! We had to use carpet cleaner to soak up water, [redacted], we looked Into the leak and not sure there is much that can be done. [redacted] Desired SettlementRefund or repairs paid for
