We wish to thank our resident for bringing the window lock repair request forward It is unfortunate that this incident occurred Upon notification from this resident regarding the lock not working on a window within their unit, we responded promptly by sending over maintenance
staff to repair the window lock and verify that all remaining window locks within the unit were operational Maintenance also found the screen for window noted by the resident as not there It was there however was bent beyond repair and thus we have reordered new replacement screen(s) As mentioned above, we made positive and prompt repairs to the window lock once requested to do so

As mentioned in our first response, when informed via requesting service we took prompt and appropriate action to correct any and all nonworking window locks within this specific apartment.   We as a company don't complete service requests via smartphone texting, we utilize a property management software program to generate work orders where and when required, and closing them out once completed.   Again, when informed of a window not locking properly we sent over nearly immediate assistance to correct.   As for negotiating some sort of compensation, we wish to refer our resident back to their lease terms which strongly recommend they purchase Renters Insurance to protect their personal belongings as the owners insurance only covers the property itself, and not residents personal items.

I am rejecting this response because:
Well nice as possible I will state im waiting for my window in my room still NOT Fixed Screens are NOT in neither windows UN SAFE but still Were be forced toLive somewhere unsafe when we first moved in action shoud have took place right away and if you dont correspond throughtext then why was I getting them from "building manager or land lord whoever anyway if thats not how you do work you might wanna consider that next time and inform the tenant im being TOLD THROUGH VIA TEXT ABOUT THIS NOT THROUGH NO WORK ORDER And still it takes action after our things where stolen to NOW wanna come and fix something and then at that we cant be offered to change locations for our safety. And cant be compensated something maybe half off on rent one month for the poor job you guys did to respond to a job yout getting paid for which was make sure our windows was fixed and no we should of checkedthat before we signed the lease because how do you get away renting out property thats not fully safe . I feel as if we deserve something being forced to live somewhere were unsafe and were trying to work with yiu and continued to pay rent on tim. With broken windows.
