Oh boy! I hate to write this review because there are so many star reviewsBut, what happened, on my wedding day, was highly unacceptable
Lisa seemed amazing, at firstShe agrees to do my whole wedding for $We didn't have a large budget, so this was great! I paid the initial deposit which turned out to be $She immediately started sending over ceremonies for us to look over
Then, I wanted to pay the rest of what I owed and it was another $So, $in totalIt wasn't what we agreed on, but I didn't want to have a confrontation and have bad feelings before my wedding, so I paid it
Everything seemed to go good after that
The day before my wedding, Lisa emailed and informed me that she had the flu, but she had found someone to fill in for herI wasn't given any contact info for this new lady, I was just told that she had all of the details of my wedding and would be there
I was seriously worried, but trusted Lisa
No other contact was made until minutes before I was going to walk down the aisleYes, TEN MINUTESAnd that contact was made by me, in a frantic attempt to let Lisa know that this replacement officiant had not shown up(I also had ZERO signal to call anyone, so my fingers were crossed that a miracle would happen.)
Luckily, my photographer brought her husband, and while I was running around panicking about no one being there to marry us, she informed me that her husband was registered to officiate, but he had never done a weddingI quickly shelled out cash (that was supposed to go towards our honeymoon) and gave him my phone with the full ceremony on itHe was so nervous, but we had NO other options
The replacement showed up when I was half way down the aisleShe wouldn't walk to the mark where she was supposed to standShe didn't talk into the microphone for half the ceremony and didn't hold the microphone to our mouths so our guests could hear our vowsLisa offered no compensation or apologiesDo not recommend
