On 1/**/a joint owner on *** ***'s account presented a third party check for deposit in our Saugerties BranchShe was told by the *** that third party checks could not be cashed unless both parties were present with ID, as noted in our disclosureThe joint owner then took the check and left the branch*** *** then went to our Personal Teller Machine at our Saugerties Branch and with a different teller, attempted to deposit the same checkThe operator took the check as a courtesy to *** ***, and as noted on the receipt provided, the $was held until 1/**/The *** then placed an extended hold on the check, because it was done as a courtesy outside of our policyIt is our procedure to verbally notify our members of such a hold, and if this was not done, we apologizeThe check has now clearedWe apologize for any inconvenience

 Business has not contacted me by phone only by mail  and they have not resolved the matter  still falsely reporting to the credit agencies.  I would like to escalate this claim

Review: I have been repaying an auto loan to this company since around February of **08 and they have failed to provide me with itemized receipts reflecting the amount paid and the remaining balance on my account. I have never witnessed any such unprofessional practice in any other business that I have conducted business with. I have written a letter to **. [redacted] in the Loss Mitigation department requesting to please forward me receipts reflecting the amounts paid and the remaining balance in my loan but she completely ignored my request and after about a month of me sending my letter (letter was sent around July **) I still haven't gotten any response. I also stated in my correspondence that I cant wait to finish conducting business with this bank because it has been a horrible experience all along and their unprofessional and rudeness has created a very bad impression on me as a so called "member".Desired Settlement: All I want from now on and the end of my loan is that they mail me receipts showing how much I have paid and how much is the remaining balance on my loan. I guess for them that is too much to ask. Please intervene and have this sorted out as soon as possible. Thank you.

This memo is in response to your letter dates 8/**/2013 regarding the complaint against Mid-hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (MHV) Submitted By member [redacted] complaint discuess receipts on his auto loan.

[redacted] opened an auto loan with MHV on 1/**/2008. At some point during the course of his loan, [redacted] address became invalid. We put a do not mail note on his account and a note to obtain a good address. During this time, we were unable to contact [redacted].

In the normal course of business, we do not mail receipts for payments sent in the mail, rather, activity is noted on a monthly statement. In [redacted] case, we were unable to mail a statement because we did not have a valid address.

upon [redacted] contact us in July, we made a modification to his account, ensuring that we had his proper address and phone number. Hearing his concerns, we made a special note on his account to have payment receipts sent to him. Going forwards, [redacted] should receive both a monthly statement showing his loan activity and receipts from his payments in addition, I have sent out an interim statement to him today, Evidencing all of his payments during 2013.
