This delivery was made to a business that had a security point which required that every delivery driver watch a safety video before they could advance past the guardOur first delivery
team was led by a Hispanic gentleman who is bi-lingual but still refining his understanding of the English languageHe did not comprehend how long the safety video was going to take for certification and was left with the opinion that the time necessary for this certification would be excessive so he did not complete the deliveryAs President of our company, I personally talked with the customer (prior to ever knowing about this Revdex.com complaint) to find a resolution to the missed delivery and she did not, at any time, clarify that the video would only be a few minutesWe mutually agreed to deliver the product to the security gate and she would coordinate getting it from the gate to its intended destination on the secure propertyA couple days after successfully completing the return delivery of the product, I received a phone call from the customer’s supervisor for clarification of what happenedWe discussed the timeline of events and from this conversation, we learned that the safety video only took a few minutes to reviewBoth the supervisor and me agreed that this was a case of miscommunication and going forward we would gladly watch the video and gain the necessary certification which would allow us to gain entrance into the secure business facilityObviously, we had another delivery to the business and we successfully completed the safety training which allowed us access beyond the security point
