We have reviewed our records and we show Mrs. [redacted] purchased a 2001 Ford Super Crew on February 28th, 2017. She purchased said vehicle for $5950.00 plus Tax, Title, and License fee for a total purchase price of $6563.54.State Law requires a licensed Dealer to disclose warranty information on...
all vehicle sales. So in following the laws set forth by the state there was an AS-IS No Warranty Buyers Guide attached to the window. We also have a No Warranty disclosure included in the bill of sale. We have a 3rd form (not required by law) that specifically talks about warranty between the seller and the buyer. We have enclosed a copy of all 3 documents. Vehicles are typically warranted by the manufacturer not the seller. The manufacturer warranty had expired on this vehicle since it was 16 years old and had over 100,000 miles on it.Mrs. [redacted] and/or her husband drove this vehicle, she also had another relative check this vehicle. This was not a broke down truck, as she would not have purchased it. In response to being pushed into buying fast, as we stated already she purchased on February 28th and many consumers shop for a vehicle with their income tax refunds and as a courtesy we were letting her know the vehicle would probably sell quickly.I am the owner of Bi-Rite Auto Sales Inc. and have been doing business for 28 years. We follow the laws and regulations set forth by the state. We disclose warranty and all matters above and beyond what is required by law. I believe we have done a good job of this over the years because we have a Accredited A+ Rating form your Revdex.com and many loyal and satisfied customers. We are truly sorry that Mrs. [redacted] had mechanical problems with her truck after she purchased, but if we pay or partially pay for repairs then we are implying that there was some kind of warranty and there was no warranty.
