I haven't used my bank to pay this account in several yearsThe debit was setup through Service Finance account which I was told us no longer being usedHowever it apparently still debit paymentsIn addition an email was sent to Svc Fin finance group because none of their reps had access to the systemFrom to is more then any day waiting period, combined with the fact today is and I have not received a refundI feel I am well within my rights to expect addition compensation due to the negligence of Service Finance and their various groups mishandling customer accounts
Mr. [redacted] statement with regard to his payoff on 3/3/16 is correct. However, we did not debit his account on the 23rd of March. Mr. [redacted] thru U.S. Bank had setup recurring payments and he failed to have these stopped when he decided to payoff the account. When we received his over-payment we...
immediately notified the Bank to cease further payments. Our procedures for refunds are to wait 15 business days as there are times when payments are returned for various reasons. Our records show that Mr. [redacted] refund of 179.00 was mailed on 4/7/16 which is within this time frame. We certainly apologize for the inconvenience caused to Mr.[redacted] but the practice of waiting to ensure we have clear funds with which to issue the refund is a sound business practice to protect everyone involved in the transaction. As stated his refund has been issued and mailed, unfortunately we are not in a position to provide Mr. [redacted] with any additional compensation in this matter

From 3.3.16 to 4.7.16 is more then any 15 day waiting period, combined with the fact today is 4.25.16 and I have not received a refund. I feel I am well within my rights to expect addition compensation due to the negligence of Service Finance and their various groups mishandling customer accounts.
The over-payment was received on 3/23/16 not 3/3/16, I think Mr. [redacted] clearly stated that in his initial complaint. From 3/23/16 to 4/7/16 is 15 calendar days. With Mr. [redacted] permission I am happy to provide his payment history which will show that he has been using the E-Pay service to pay his account for the past 3 years. He did access this service thru our website, but the service is operated by U.S. Bank and hence our representatives at service finance would not have access. Mr. [redacted] would have created his own credentials, a user Id and password which he used to to setup these recurring payments and which he failed to end. The refund check # [redacted] for 179.00 was issued on 3/31/16 and mailed on 4/7/16 to [redacted]. If Mr. [redacted] wishes he can contact me directly at ###-###-#### and we can check with our bank to see if the item has been cashed or not. if it has not, we can place a stop payment and issue Mr. [redacted] another refund via ACH directly to his bank to expedite and conclude this matter.
