This company has terrible customer serviceWhen you have a problem, don't say you were not warned
In summarythey were going to overcharge us after the free monitoring offer was overSecondly, they installed the system incorrectlyAnd, they did not input the code correctly on their end and not only did they call the police, they never told us why they called the policeThirdly, they refused to send out the on call tech after the police were called the second timeThis went on for almost months
They installed the new QolSys system and we had nothing but problemsWe felt like we were Guinea pigs with this new systemThe tech who installed the system did NOT wire it correctlyIn addition, he drilled through our insulated garage door and left three large holes in the door when they removed their sensorHe also did not wire the glass break sensor correctly
When the alarm went off, we tried to give the code to the person on the phone, but she never told us it was the wrong code She just called the policeWhat she did not tell us was that the code we gave did not match their recordsAnd why was that? Because THEY imputed the code into their system WRONGLY off of the initial paperworkIt was their error
We called their customer service and complained about the malfunctionEven though the police responded to the alarm call it took three days for a tech to come outTHREE DAYSOnce the tech came out he would not listen to my complaint and check the wiringInstead, he said I simply needed to download patches We did soI told him, if the alarm box is tapped on the outside, the system tells me there is an open window or doorThat's not a malfunction? Well, I was rightThe alarm malfunctioned and it went off again
Again, we gave the code, but they rejected it and called the policeAgain, I read the code from the initial paperworkAnd, so we called customer service again about the malfunctionThe on call tech who answered the phone REFUSED to come out at our request So twice now the alarm went off and the police were called and the company never told us why the code was rejected
I got on the phone and called corporate up in PAShe then admitted to us that the code from the paperwork was incorrectly imputed on their end At least when the on-going malfunctions continued two more times, we were now able to give the code for they fixed their error However, for two-three months we walked on egg shells regarding alarmsIt went off a minimum of timesThis is not counting the emails we received for alarm activationsWe now began calling new alarm companies for a quote because I knew this system had a problem and the company would NOT listen They didn't care that we were walking on eggshells never knowing if the alarm was valid or not
Nevertheless, during the quotes, two different salesmen told me the alarm should NOT be saying anything when the alarm box is tapped
When I complained to the corporate office we later found out we were being overcharged by about $a month Of course, they offered to adjust the bill and made it sound as if they were doing us a favorWe were ticked! The salesman had signed us up for the works, but we did not know thisWe had even told him we did not use phone apps, but we were signed up for it anyways
When the new company did their install, I was vindicatedHe confirmed with me the alarm was malfunctioning because of how it was wiredHe also installed a new garage sensor He had never seen someone install it on the door like they had done soAnd, as I mentioned earlier on, he pointed out that the glass break was not installed correctly
When all was said and done the nightmare was overAMSA picked up all of their equipmentAfter complaining, they did patch the garage door holesWe had to pay almost dollars for the new system, (which was never anticipated) but AMSA only reimbursed us our initial + another making it We lost out on dollars and we walked on egg shells for about months, but, we now have piece of mind The new system has never had a malfunction and we are saving almost $a month from not being overcharged
What really bothers me is that AMSA showed no complaintsYou had to really do some research and find the parent company in PA called My Alarm Center, LLCAnd it is there you will find they have had numerous complaints

I m customer of My alarm center and it's is very very bad customer service
Has issue for false alarm so many times and every time this company is trying to fix their system but it for fix
They have their system freeze and don't have any message on screen and finally they call us and we don't pick up phone for any reason they dispatch police and we have to pay for it even its their system fault.
We strongly suggest stay away from
This company
They sit meet Industry standard
Very poor and obese you get in contract it will cost you at least 2000 dollars
