Poor customer service and workmanship.The company started the project of replacing my deck and putting in a stained and stamped concrete patio and sidewalk on May 8th, and they still hadn't completed the project by Sept. 3oth. This should have only been a 2 1/2 - 3 week project that has gone on for over 4 1/2 months! Their customer service is poor. They seldom return my calls if I call to ask about the status of my project. Many times they have not showed up to work when they said they would come, and haven't even called to cancel, or would show up unexpectedly (sometimes even a 6:30 AM and wake me up). The first delay was they didn't have the color I wanted for my concrete stain. It was supposed to take a week to get the stain, but this was dragged out to 3 weeks. Then, when they put the stain on my concrete, they got too much black coloring on the concrete, and it took them 2 weeks to fix that problem. Then, when they put the sealant on the concrete the end of June, the sealant bubbled up on the concrete. Gradually, over a period of 2 months, they tried a couple of times to fix the bubbles on the concrete, but it didn't fix the problem. (They also dragged this out to a couple of weeks each time before they would show up to work on my patio.) Finally, the first of Sept. they stripped my patio of the sealant, and re-applied the sealant, however, the sealant bubbled up again on the concrete. I contacted the company again, and they said they would wait until the weather was a little cooler, and lower humidity and try again. I have tried to contact them several times since the middle of Sept. since the weather was cooler, to find out when they were coming to finish my patio. However, they would never return my calls after I left several messages. By Sept. 30th, I had finally lost my patience with the company, and I called them to let them know they were fired, and I found another company to complete the job.Desired Settlement I would like a refund of the bill I still owe this company of the amount of $750.00. This company never completed the project, and this is the amount I have had to pay another company to finish their work.Business Response I will agree to knock the $750 off what you owe us. When can I come pick up the remaining balance of $1950? If no response we will proceed with first filing a charge for theft of services with the Collierville police department and then proceed to put a lien on your property, followed by suing you for the money owed plus any punitive damages. Please contact me at your convenience to schedule pick up of money. I will expect a call on or before October 11, 2013. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The remaining amount I owe them is only $1915, not $1950. The initial estimate was for $8665. I have already paid them $6000. The remaining balance of $2665 minus $750 is only $1915. They can pick up their check for the balance on the afternoon of Oct. 18th.Final Business Response Agreed
