Mid Valley Ford has chosen to refund Mr's ***'s $paid for repair order [redacted] and will consider the matter closed

Mr& Mrs [redacted] brought their 'Expedition to Mid Valley Ford for a AC compressor malfunctionThe Expedition was oz low on freon when it arrivedMid Valley Ford offered to perform the customary diagnosis to confirm customers issuesThe ***s declined the diagnosis and stated that they already knew that the compressor was bad, and requested the dealership to just replace the AC compressorMid Valley Ford requested Mr [redacted] return after miles to confirm the repair fixed the customers concernUpon the return of the Expedition, a further inspection a leak at the manifold to compressor fittingA quote was provided to Mr ***On July 3rd to have the repair completedA fix was provided and parts returned to customerThe dealership only charged for the part replacementMrs ***s now blames the dealership for unrelated issues on the 03' ExpeditionA "No Charge" diagnosis was provided one one of the issuesMid Valley Ford regrets that we are unable to completely satisfy Mrs***'s complaints

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: 1) Mid Valley did not offer my husband "complementary" DiagnosisThey quoted him a price onlyAlso I have copied their reply to my Facebook reviewWe fully expected them to view our diagnosisMid Valley Ford Hello ***I hope this review was in regards to Matt Cwith the 03' ExpeditionWe appreciate your candid remarks, and thank you for the opportunity to provide service for your A/C repairUnfortunately Jason, our service manager was unable to provide "free Labor", and hoped that the discount we provided would help satisfy Matt in this difficult situationI have asked our service manager in the future to ensure a proper diagnostic on any vehicle is preformed before just replacing parts at a "customer's request"This will ensure we're able to correctly diagnose, identify and inform our customers of all possible problems and the ability to provide an accurate repair the "first time"Thank you again for your input and review, an we do hope to see you again in the future2)The manifold was not leakingWhen they replaced the compressor they said it was leaking3)However "unrelated" the key fobs and rear seat not working might beThey never looked to confirm and only replaced the keyfob battery and confirmed it was not workingWith my third seat I realized it wasn't working hours after getting my rig back the second timeI walked in and made sure Jason knew that that had been working before we brought it inRegardless my car does not function like it should after they touched it! Had one seat not been up we would not be able to transport our family in one rigBottom line they all worked before taking my rig into Mid valley and it was different issues after taking it in twice Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] brought their '03 Expedition to Mid Valley Ford for a AC compressor malfunction. The Expedition was 16 oz low on freon when it arrived. Mid Valley Ford offered to perform the customary diagnosis to confirm customers issues. The [redacted]s declined the diagnosis and stated that they...

already knew that the compressor was bad, and requested the dealership to just replace the AC compressor. Mid Valley Ford requested Mr. [redacted] return after 250 miles to confirm the repair fixed the customers concern. Upon the return of the Expedition, a further inspection a leak at the manifold to compressor fitting. A quote was provided to Mr [redacted]. On July 3rd to have the repair completed. A fix was provided and parts returned to customer. The dealership only charged for the part replacement. Mrs [redacted]s now blames the dealership for unrelated issues on the 03' Expedition. A "No Charge" diagnosis was provided one one of the issues. Mid Valley Ford regrets that we are unable to completely satisfy Mrs. [redacted]'s complaints.

However "unrelated" the key fobs and rear seat not working might be. They never looked to confirm and only replaced the keyfob battery and confirmed it was not working. With my third seat I realized it wasn't working hours after getting my rig back the second time. I walked in and made sure Jason knew that that had been working before we brought it in. Regardless my car does not function like it should after they touched it! Had one seat not been up we would not be able to transport our family in one rig. Bottom line they all worked before taking my rig into Mid valley and it was 2 different issues after taking it in twice.
