I purchased the truck in question a Freightliner Columbia serial number *** from an auction by *** Brothers on December in Morton IllinoisI personally drove the truck from Morton to Owensboro and had no problem with it at allThe customer came to Owensboro to look
at the truck he rode in the truck and everything was fineHe agreed to purchase the truck and we agreed to meet him halfway between Owensboro and Chicago on a weekendWe went to meet him and my driver had no problems with the truck eitherMe and my driver had both driven the truck with cruise control set at up to MPH with no problemWe were not pulling a trailer with the truck just the truck by itselfWe met the customer and his brother halfway and his brother drove the truck homeThe customer called about a month after buying truck and asked me if we had a problem with truck only running MPH. I told him no and reminded him that his brother drove the truck home and asked if truck only ran MPH when they drove it home and he agreed that they drove home normally.
The customer called me once again this time months after buying the truck claiming that we knowingly sold him a truck with problemsHe started making threats that he was going to report us to the Revdex.comI once again reminded him that we drove the truck and his brother drove the truck with none of us pulling trailers and the truck drove fine nothing unusual. Maybe the truck does have a power issue when pulling a loaded trailer but that is not anything that we would have known when selling him the truckWe sell semi tractors and do not pull loaded trailers with themWe knew nothing about the truck having any issues and I am sure the auction company knew nothing about the truck having any issues. If anybody sold the truck knowing it had issues it was probably the construction company from Chicago that took the truck to the auction. That company purchased the truck on 10/02/and sent it to the 12/12/auction so they didn’t keep it very long
