I had been going to Midas in Addison for a while and was always pleased with the serviceHowever, I will no longer go there based on my last experience and the nonchalant attitude of the owner, Anil *** In 2013, I bought new tires for my car from Midas, of which had a road hazard warrantyBetween and July 2015, I had a tire replaced by another companyIn July 2015, I brought my car in to the Midas in Addison to have the front two tires replacedI brought my receipt with me, but could not find the serial numbers of the tires on itTim, an employee of Midas, could not eitherHowever, Tim told me that he checked on the computer and found that the back two tires were the ones covered under the warranty, not the front twoAdditionally, Midas did not have the tires in stock even though we had an appointmentTherefore, I left without purchasing the tiresWhen I got home, I found the receipt for the tire I had replaced at the other companyThe serial number on the tire corresponded to one of the back tires, which meant that Tim lied about verifying the serial numbers on the computerI purchased the two replacement tires from another companyI called Mr***about thisHe told me that he will see about reimbursing me for the two tires that I boughtHe also informed me that although the receipt did not show it, all four tires that I had purchased from them had the road hazard warrantyMr***asked me to provide documentation, which I hand delivered on July 20, I had not heard back from Mr*** so on October 16, 2015, I sent a follow up letter stating that if I do not hear back by October 31, 2015, I will contact Midas' corporate officeSince Mr***did not respond, I contacted the corporate office on January 3, On January 7, 2016, Mr***left me a voicemail message stating that he thought this had been handled, and that he will look into it and get back to meI did not hear back from Mr*** so on May 24, 2016, I sent a follow up letter to himIn the letter, I stated that if I did not hear from him by June 15, 2016, I will contact the corporate office and the Revdex.comOn approximately June 7, 2016, Mr***left me another voicemail message, again stating that he thought this was handled and that he will look into itOn August 8, 2016, since Mr***had not followed up with me, I sent him another letter stating that if I did not hear back from him by August 31, 2016, I will contact the corporate office and the Revdex.comOf course, I did not hear back from Mr*** On September 1, 2016, I contacted the corporate office again asking them to resolve the issue and that I will refrain from contacting the Revdex.com until October 1, On October 3, 2016, Mr***calledIn our conversation, Mr***said that he would send a check for the cost of the replacement tires (prorated cost)As of today, December 16, 2016, I have not received a check nor have I heard from Mr*** This issue has been going on for approximately a year and a halfI do not know how a company can stay in business when an employee lies to a customer, and the owner says he will rectify the situation, but does notI will not go back there nor will I recommend Midas in Addison to anyone else
