I was not satisfied with the service that was done on my car [redacted] 2007. It was heater core replacement on 12/08/2015 for $1283.79. After it was done traction control button was not working; however they fixed it on 12/15/2015. Other problems: 1. airbag service light is on, they told me it supposed to disappear after many engine turn ons. I went to a dealership on 12/21/2015 and they fixed it for $518.56 - connectors had loose terminals and missing assurance clips (Midas employees didn't connect it properly, airbag light and airbag service light on the dashboard would not disappear by themselves). 2. Different screws are used in central console armrest and it is not closing properly and central console has other various fit problems of the trim. 3. Weird gasket with holes ripped out visible above steering wheel - between steering wheel column and a console (fixed a little bit at the dealership). 4. The front seats and steering wheel and some controls were dirty with oil and grease, payed $24.99 for cleaning at a carwash. 5. I can still smell antifreeze a little bit, when I turn on the heater.
I think the mechanics of MIDAS, Morton Grove, IL are not qualified to do a heater core replacement and don't have training to do so.
