These guys rebuilt my transmission and it failed after 10K miles (covered under their year/25K mile warranty) I inquired as to what brand torque converter they used The owner stated they used *** torque converters *** is the least expensive torque converter on the market and they have a horrible reputation Most shops don't use *** torque converters for that reason After rebuilding it again, I noticed that there was a chugging that was not there prior to either rebuild After bringing it back, they insisted the problem was in the engine and not the transmission After having a different shop thoroughly go over the engine and repair what problems they found, the chugging remained I brought it back to Chesterfield Transmission again and they still insisted the problem was not in the transmission I continued to drive the car hoping the transmission would completely fail within the warranty, but it didn't It finally did fail after 30K miles on the second rebuild; outside the coverage of their warranty So, $2,for 42K miles of transmission I contacted them to ask if it would be covered seeing as I did bring it back stating that there was something wrong with the tranny during the warranty period and they couldn't give me a straight answer and went so far as to tell me that I was giving THEM an attitude!!! I will NEVER bring anything to these amateurs again and highly recommend anyone else from using this shop for ANY reason
