Please do not use this company. I went here because I had spongy brakes and my brake fluid level seemed to drop over a few days. They charged me over $650.00 for new brake pads, new master cylinder, they told me all 4 of my rotors were bad and had to be replaced. When I refused to have the rotors replaced they stated that all the warrenties on the pads & master cylainder would be null and I would have squealing and my brakes would vibrate because I refused to have the rotors replaced. I took the car to the dealer who asked why I had changed the items stated above as the pads last 100k miles (I was at 49k) and the MC was not a good one and there had been nothing wrong with the other one as the issue that caused the spongy brakes was the power brake unit and I will continue to have spongy brakes due to the non factory MC used. They examined the rotors and 2 different technicians stated they looked almost brand new and there was not enough wear for them to have been replaced. I am extrememly dissatisfied with the way I was treated. Whne they first called me & stated that I needed the pads & rotors replaced & it would be about $700.00 for that. I called them back & agreed to the pads but not the rotors. They stated the vehicle would be ready anytime after noon. I came to pick up my vehicle at 3:00 but was told that they did not have a good phone number & they now need to replace the MC because the brakes are still spongy. I leave the vehicle with them (this was on a Saturday) I have to get a ride to & from my work (I work across town so I have to inconvenience friends & family to get to & from work). Midas stated the car would be done by 3:00 on Monday So I leave work early so I can make sure everything is done before Midas closes.I call them about 3:00 and am told it is on the rack but should be done soon. I call again on my way there to pick up the car & they state it is still not ready - it will be about an hour. I call again around 4:30 and it still isn't ready - maybe an hour. I go there @ 5:30 (they close at 6:00) and I wait there for my car until 6:30. The guy doing the test drive pretty much just jumps from the car as the others lock the doors behind me and says the car is fine. I get in the car & hit the brakes to take the car out of park and my foot goes to the floor and there are these horrible squealing noises and my brake pedal vibrates as I am pushing it to the floor. By now I am the only one there so I drive it home all that way praying I do not have to stop short. I get up & go to the shop the next day at 6:30 ( they do not open until 7:30 but there is alot less traffic at 6:30 because I am not at all comfortable driving the car.) They took my car in again and about 2 hours later they tell me I should take it to the Mazda dealer as they will cover the cost of the part I need as an extended warranty. I had to take another day off taking care of the mess that Midas made of my car.
