Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:I bet his witness works for *** and wouldn't say anything but back him up for fear of losing his jobEven in a court of law, the opposition gets a chance to hear witnesses and cross examineNo this doesn't begin to address the remarks his front man madeAnd even so Boy versus a dick is a far cry apartAnd that remark was made well after his remark of calling me a dick. How about addressing that? How about an apology for that? In person and as of this point only made one attempt (today) to contact me for an event that occurred over a week agoPerhaps he would like to add his lax handling
of customer complaints to his list of "things that should have been handled differently"Perhaps he is culpable for some of this as wellAt any rate if he has a front man (not sure if this is a relative of not) that treats customers this way, he wont be in business much longer anywayBacking your boy might not be in your best interest
Regards,

Mr. [redacted] came in with his 2014 [redacted] for an oil change, tire rotation and fuel filter change on 5/15/15. He approved the work at 7.04am on the same date, he declined the air filter. The amount authorized was $385.78. Mr. [redacted] came in to pick up his vehicle and paid the bill then became...

very upset saying that we had charged him 129 for a fuel filter that he could purchase from a parts house direct for $46. When the manager tried to explain that we charged standard list price, he accused him of lying and became belligerent. I spoke with another customer who was present in the waiting room and this person said that the manager [redacted] asked Mr. [redacted] to please stay calm which only agitated him further, referring to the manager as BOY in a highly demeaning manner, several times, until  he was asked to leave. Mr. [redacted] then demanded to speak to the owner (myself) and was given my card with my cell phone. He left me a message which I have returned this morning now that I have been able to speak to the customer who witnessed what happened. As a point of reference to the supposed 'exorbitant' charges, two local shops were called and asked to price the identical job. [redacted] quoted $438.52 including tax and [redacted] quoted $475. [redacted] was using [redacted] parts and [redacted] uses the identical [redacted] parts and [redacted] oils we use in our facility. Based on this I do not feel we overcharged in any way. As with any business we charge a markup in line with our industry to ensure that we make a profit and stay in business. I am concerned about the accusations on the customer service side and have spoken with the manager involved. From speaking with the other customer present it has become obvious that neither party handled things well, I apologise on my side for that and only hope Mr. [redacted] can see that the situation could and should have been handled differently.
