I am rejecting this response because:It did not take some time to get authorization for the first partIt was authorized the same day yet the company told us for days (weekend included) that they still had not received authorizationEven if my husband performed work on his car, it was done under professionals at his school South Texas Vocational Training in which he was studying to be a mechanicEven if a car comes in with a problem, it was the company's job to diagnose the problem not take the customer word that this was the problemThe company suggested they offered and we declined, but in this case it was not offered and if so it should have been documented as such on the paperworkThe warranty company only received a refund for the second part not the first partIn such because the company was being lazy and was not authorized more time from the warranty company other than the hours that it was supposed to take them to fix the part, they let our car sit there and suggest they would work on it, when they did notWe would not have taken our car there and allowed our warranty company to pay if Midas could not fix the problem but because they took advantage of the part they could not fix and was still paid for labor that they did not perform to fix the problem, I feel we should be entitled to the portion the warranty company paid them to work on the carMidas should not receive money for work not finished. I still wish to be refunded

The consumer came in around mid april asking about previous work that had been performed on the vehicleThe store manager brought the consumer out to to the vehicleand showed him the markings where the new parts had been installedThe consumer then brought vehicle back on 4/15/with his own
supplied part and asked midas to intall the part, another steering suspension part(steering rack) The customer never stated any suspension issues after the work had been performed The consumer also has come in for several other services since the 12/30/never mention the suspension issueThe complaint shows to be filed 02/13/, over a year after the initial suspension work had been performed, and due to the fact that there are multiple suspension parts on a vehicle that do wear out over time, and never did bring up any issue during his warranty period, we feel like we have held our obligation to the customer

In regards to this consumer, the owner has a face to face meeting and did re-imbursethe consumer for his requested disputed amountHe was reimbursed for the bolts, labor, and rental car, as he wished for in his complaint, at last we spoke to the consumer he was satisfied with the resolution

The consumer brought his vehicle over with a fuel issue. The customer stated that the fuel pump was bad, and that he had a extended warranty company he wished the repairs to go through. The fuel pump did test not up to standard working condition, we submitted a a claim to the company and waited for...

a reply. After some time they gave us approval and the work was performed. The vehicle was still having fuel delivery issues at which time we contacted the consumer and he stated he had been working on the fuel section of the vehicle himself prior to bringing it to midas. We then resubmitted another claim to the extended warranty company for an addition repair in the section on which the customer had been working on the vehicle. The repair did not solve the fuel delivery issue, at which point we did refund the extended warranty company a full refund for the second repair.  The warranty company at this point denied any more diagnostic time/repairs to find the cause of the issue. The customer was contacted and he came and picked up the vehicle and paid the deductable for the repairs. After customer contacted midas asking for a refund on the deduct-able, we issued it at his convenience. There was a full warranty parts and labor at our location for the fuel pump, the customer chose to take the vehicle to a different location and had work performed. The customer wishes of refund for work performed at a different shop, are not in conjunction with our policy, and the warranty company was given a refund for the second repair as well

I am rejecting this response because:The car initially went in for 1800 dollars worth of suspension work. It drove fine for a couple days and then we took it to another Midas for a second opinion to make sure the work had been performed correctly. The second Midas showed my husband new control arms had not been installed but the parts still looked worn as if the part was used or as it appear to be the same part (never touched). This was on 28 Feb 14, attached are the receipts. We then took the car to the original Midas only to find out new management was in place. The new management claimed to have fixed it. We are still experiencing suspension problems and wish to have our refund as well for parts not used that we paid for. We have taken our car here numerous times only to have more issues.
