I took my car to Midas on Clark Rd for a simple oil change and tire rotation as advertised for $19.95. I was advised to have my cabin and engine air filters replaced, fuel system clean-out, and re-balance of all 4 tires. I was never asked if the engine performance was lacking in any way, nor whether there was any vibration from out-of-balance tires. Somehow they knew that my tires were all out by 1.25 oz and needed re-balancing. I declined the extra services. However, when my car was ready, the bill came to $69.31 because they had decided to replace my engine air filter without asking me. The charge for the filter was $39.95. (Manufacturer branded engine air filter can be bought for about $12.00!) Very disappointed in pressure applied to attempt to get me to add services to my car. Very disappointed with this Midas experience.
