I apologize for the delay in the credit to the customers account. The account has been credited in the amount $96.69. The service call with tax is plus 3% charge for visa/mc. Thank you for your patience and again am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

At no time was I told that I was being charged for a service call, and the receipt from the business makes no mention of a service call charge Additionally, I don't accept the allegation that the part ordered was unavailable, because the refrigerator has been fixed and running properly since contacting a new service provider Finally, if the facts presented by the business are true, is it appropriate for a business to take someone's money on February 27, 2017, and provide no follto the present, May 20, 2017?

the amount has yet to be deposited back in my mother's PNC accountI will not accept this resolution until the transaction is completed Although it may take a few days for the credit to take place, due to the circumstances that it has taken 6-weeks to be resolved, I do not want to closed this complaint out yet

I did check her refrigerator out and correctly diagnosed that it needed a new thermostat that controls the temperature.  I gave her an estimate to do the job and told her the thermostat was special order.  She said to go ahead and order it.  What Ms. [redacted] was charged was a service...

call and ordered the part from the authorized distributor for Whirlpool.  What we found out is that the part was on a national back order and they didn't have one to send us.  Without the control I can't install it.  All customers that request service pay a service call. Thank you,Jeff G[redacted] Appliance Service
