the customer picked up the vehicle and it was not overheating. About a week later the customer called back to tell me that the vehicle was overheating and was driven some distance that way. She took it to a local shop which told her that the motor was no longer functional. She called us to see what we would do for her and we told her we would look at it for free but she needed to get it to us. She called back again asking what we would do for her but until I see the vehicle there is nothing we can do. So right now I am not able to even verify what the real problem is. At this point I am not going to be able to anything.

I am rejecting this response because: I took the vehicle in before they closed and we waited for a very long time. They said we needed three manifolds changed and if there was any other problem they would call me and let me know. They completed the work and within one week the car cut off, it would not start, I had to get it towed and with it being on a weekend I got it towed to a shop that was able to come get the car. The car was completely empty, it didn't have any coolant or water in it, and with my second opinion from [redacted] that my engine should not have blown like that after Midas repaired it. They got fast money and sent me on my way. [redacted] told me to bring the car in and that he can only guarantee his work. I said it's not your work it's what you failed to tell me, and failed to do to the car, when you got in the car and im sure you knew there was something else wrong. I asked him before I spend extra money on towing my car to him is he going to help me because it's getting more and more expensive. When he spoke to [redacted] at [redacted] he was very nice and polite. When he spoke to me he was very rude and short. By the end of a run around conversation, I had taken paperwork in from the other auto body shop and took it to Midas, all [redacted] (the manager) would say is that  if it's not what they fixed it's nothing he's going to do. Again I said it's what you did it's what you did not do, I need to know if you will help me some kind of way, before I tow this car over or I m going to file a complaint, [redacted] bluntly said no i'm not, file your compliant. The car has not been touched, I had to tow the car from the shop to my house and the guy name at [redacted] auto is [redacted] and his number is [redacted]. I also have the paperwork still available. So where do we go from here and what exactly kind of help will Midas give me? My new phone number is [redacted]

Review: I took my car son in and Midas looked at it and told me I needed to repair the manifold set. The car was running hot and that was all the information I had. Midas repaired the vehicle and they told me if there was anything else wrong with the car when they got into it they would all me and let me know. I said ok. So, nothing else was supposed to be wrong and the problem was fixed. One week later, the gauges did not show the car was hot and the car stopped on my son. It was towed to another repair shop because it was a weekend and I was not at home and this shop let me pay them when I came back for the tow service. Anyway, the shop said there was no coolant no water or anything in the car and the engine was blown.Desired Settlement: I tried talking to the manager at Midas and he was very rude. I had the mechanic call [redacted] at Midas and he had a different tone and said for me to bring the car in. When I called and spoke with [redacted] again, he was rude again and I said I just want to know if you will help me before I pay to get my car towed again, and spend more money. He went on about the car being 15 years old and so on. Ok so again I said I want to know are you going to help me before I file a complaint. [redacted] said no
