Review: MidCal Moving and Storage Co. @ [redacted] moved my household good on May 2, 2015 and kept some in storage until they delivered some to me at my home in [redacted] on July 23, 2015.
My complaint is 1. My sleep number bed was damaged in that the mattress was unzipped and when sleeping on bed – the mattress deflates – the air no longer holds the setting.
2. The bed’s bottom mattress appears to have a liquid spilled on it.
3. The bed post was damaged in that the wood is split and coming apart.
4. The leather ottoman had the legs taken off.
5. The leather chair has the netting removed/ripped out.Desired Settlement: I chose the full replacement value rather than the depreciated value for my goods and paid $500.00 for same.
[redacted] sent an inspector who saw the damage and agreed that the damage was done on Aug 18, 2015.
Since that time I have been given 3 different claims adjusters to no avail. [redacted]
And finally,
[redacted] who wants to send a second inspector from Sleep Number.

As the customer states, her claim is in the hands of the insurance company. They are trying to do a thorough job of settling the claim in a fair manner. Sleep number mattresses are much more technical than a standard mattress, and the adjustor has determined that a rep from Sleep number should be called in to determine what needs to be done. I will contact our insurer and ask them to do everything they can to speed up the process. [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:On 10/7/2015 two Sleep number representatives came to my home to inspect my bed mattress. They concluded that both tops and bottom mattress need to be replaced.Also, see attached: My pressure /power cooker (packed by Mid-Cal Movers) also found to have a big dent on side also needs to be replaced.
