A couple of reps in our office spoke to the buyer and her famly on this account that day Monday 10/27/ The buyers were upset that they couldnt make an appt right then to redeem Advised them at that time we didn't have a release At no point did anyone in our office advise
them we can hold their vehicle for 2-days as they later started The buyer, the cobuyer and the Mother all got on the phone and cursed out our staff They threathened to call the police said that we were holding their vehicle from the, Advised them several times that wasnt the case and that we did not have the release from prior closing we would get them the driver's info and they would schedule an appt with him to redeem That was all we could do The mother said we ere crooked and withholding the car and good luck getting into heaven for this We didn't receive the release until after 5pm that day When I received the release I emailed the rep letter her know that we received it and the office was already closed and they would have to redeem the following day The client emailed me back stating that was fine We got the release to our driver Tuesday morning and he met them later on Tuesday and they redeemed later that day That lot where their unit was stored is not a manner lot and appointments are setup by our driver when he is available It was not told to the buyers that he will give the vehicle back when he feels like it The buyers have embellished a lot in their complaint As far as not giving out our lot location that is correct We do not give out our location in that area to anyone Our driver meets them at a public location
If the reps at any time got rude it was a result of being cursed out and being told why they were going to have a hard time getting into heaven At no point did the reps ever state it would be 2-days before we released their car as they stated The client advised them they could redeem the same day they paid if our office had their release prior to closing We didn't have the release prior to closing The buyer even stated in the Revdex.com complaint letter that she paid at 4:!5pm That was not enough time for the client to get us the release prior to our office closing at 5pm At no time did anyone in our office tell the buyers that if they had paid their bill on time they wouldnt have gotten paid
In regards to not getting the manager on the phone; When the buyer asked to speak to the manager I was on a call with another call holding They wanted to speak to me over a release we didn't have I advised the rep that I could not get on the phone with them to go through the same argument
We also verbally advised a rep at *** about this Monday night and Tuesday The driver wasn't in the Area Tuesday at the exact time the buyers wanted to pick up the car and the buyers were mad b/c he couldn't meet them right then He was out in the field working When he got back Tuesday he did meet them to redeem The $the buyers paid at the time of redemption is a fee that everyone with Personal Property left in the unit pay There is no reason why they should not have paid that fee It's also in our contract with the lien holder that the buyers will pay that fee
As far as the buyers saying our driver said he didn't get the release until late Tuesday that's b/c that is when he got back into the area and got to his fax machine
There was no loss of the buyer's income as a result of anything we did They will not be refunded the $because we did nothing wrong This is the repossession process and they were made aware of the process by our company and by their lien holder We did not receive the release until after hours on Monday and that is why they did not get their car back on Monday

Review: My car was repossessed. My car company said to I can pay and get my car back the same day. I paid about 4:15pm I called the towing company and spoke to "[redacted]" (her name could be wrong because she gave us a bunch of incorrect information. She said she did not receive the fax. We called back the car company and they said they will fax again. We called the towing company and she said she did not get it. We called back the car company and they said they will fax AND email the company again. We called back the towing company and she said that she did not receive nothing. She was mean. She stated if we paid our bill on time we would not of gotten our car repoed. She did not want to give us her manger or owner info to contact them. We said we are going to report the company to the Revdex.com ans she said "so what, you cant ". We called back the car company and placed a complaint with them and they also called the towing company. The re p said that she will send through the complaint and agreed that we should call the police. After we called back the towing company to tell her that we are going to call the police, she said "so what, your car is documented as repoed and they are not going to do anything about it". We told her that our car is no longer in repossession because it has been released from the car company because of our payment. She said that she received the fax at 5:05pm but she don't have to give us our car for 2-3 days because of paperwork and the office is technically closed. I went on to tell her that we was on the phone with each other after 5:05pm and was saying at that time that she did not have the paperwork. She then said very nasty that to try back in the morning and it is whenever the tow guy "feels like giving giving your car back" that is when we will get our car. She refused to give us the location of our car, she was VERY rude, ab she threatened not to give us back our car. This morning my husband tried to get the car and she ruse to give it to him or tell him any info on the car even though my husband is the co-owner of the car ... he is on the registration and insurance. I finally got in touch with the tow guy, which was nice, and he said that he didn't receive our info until late today. As a result of this we lost wages by not having our car back in a timely manner. as of right now, 4:11pm, we have no idea when we are getting our car back.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the 35.00 I am going to have to pay the tow guy and my lost of wages. If Revdex.com cant handle the wages then I am going to small claims court for the loss of wages.

Response:

A couple of reps in our office spoke to the buyer and her famly on this account that day Monday 10/27/2014. The buyers were upset that they couldnt make an appt right then to redeem. Advised them at that time we didn't have a release. At no point did anyone in our office advise them we can hold their vehicle for 2-3 days as they later started. The buyer, the cobuyer and the Mother all got on the phone and cursed out our staff. They threathened to call the police said that we were holding their vehicle from the,. Advised them several times that wasnt the case and that we did not have the release from prior closing we would get them the driver's info and they would schedule an appt with him to redeem. That was all we could do. The mother said we ere crooked and withholding the car and good luck getting into heaven for this. We didn't receive the release until after 5pm that day. When I received the release I emailed the rep letter her know that we received it and the office was already closed and they would have to redeem the following day. The client emailed me back stating that was fine. We got the release to our driver Tuesday morning and he met them later on Tuesday and they redeemed later that day. That lot where their unit was stored is not a manner lot and appointments are setup by our driver when he is available. It was not told to the buyers that he will give the vehicle back when he feels like it. The buyers have embellished a lot in their complaint. As far as not giving out our lot location that is correct. We do not give out our location in that area to anyone. Our driver meets them at a public location.

If the reps at any time got rude it was a result of being cursed out and being told why they were going to have a hard time getting into heaven. At no point did the reps ever state it would be 2-3 days before we released their car as they stated. The client advised them they could redeem the same day they paid if our office had their release prior to closing. We didn't have the release prior to closing. The buyer even stated in the Revdex.com complaint letter that she paid at 4:!5pm. That was not enough time for the client to get us the release prior to our office closing at 5pm. At no time did anyone in our office tell the buyers that if they had paid their bill on time they wouldnt have gotten paid.

In regards to not getting the manager on the phone; When the buyer asked to speak to the manager I was on a call with another call holding. They wanted to speak to me over a release we didn't have. I advised the rep that I could not get on the phone with them to go through the same argument.

We also verbally advised a rep at [redacted] about this Monday night and Tuesday. The driver wasn't in the Area Tuesday at the exact time the buyers wanted to pick up the car and the buyers were mad b/c he couldn't meet them right then. He was out in the field working. When he got back Tuesday he did meet them to redeem. The $35.00 the buyers paid at the time of redemption is a fee that everyone with Personal Property left in the unit pay. There is no reason why they should not have paid that fee. It's also in our contract with the lien holder that the buyers will pay that fee.

As far as the buyers saying our driver said he didn't get the release until late Tuesday that's b/c that is when he got back into the area and got to his fax machine.

There was no loss of the buyer's income as a result of anything we did. They will not be refunded the $35.00 because we did nothing wrong. This is the repossession process and they were made aware of the process by our company and by their lien holder. We did not receive the release until after hours on Monday and that is why they did not get their car back on Monday.
