Midnight Recovery Towing

My vehicle was towed for parked over the yelllow line at my apartment complex. They towed it and had to pay almost 300. Not only that my headlights are not working, and is all scratched up...these people are HELL! They need to repent for scamming people, and now for the holidays are hungry and I see them all over Colorado Springs, hunting for victims!

On the night of March 20th, my vehicle was parked in a lot right next to the college I go to, Pikes Peak Community College, and as I walked out of school I noticed my vehicle was goneAfter about minutes of walking around the lot I noticed a barely visible sign that said Midnight RecoveryAt this point I realized that i'd parked in a "private" parking area without knowing itCommon sense told me to give the place a ring, and so I did, in an attempt to pay what I owe
Once I got ahold of the representative, a young kid, I was told that it would cost $258.88; I asked if I could at least get my jacket out of there, since it was now past 10:pm and chillyI was surprised to be told that it would cost $to have an agent come down and escort meI asked if I could get the money and meet them in person as soon as possible without being charged more and he said okI got the money, got ahold of them later and said i'm near the lotI was then told that they couldn't be there until just past midnight, so I got there right before midnight and let them know i'm aroundI was standing right below their light and security camera for them to see me clearly
As soon as I told them that, the manager raised his voice and accused me of lying and hung up on meI called him back and he continued to raise his voice for no reason, even as he asked if I had any weapons on meAfter saying no, he again accused me of lying and hung up the phoneI called him back and politely said that I don't have any weapons and that i'd like to take care of this as efficiently as possibleHe raised his voice, made accusations, lied, and threatened to have me forcibly removed from the propertyDue to my eleven years of military service, I have learned to remain calm in the face of extreme situationsI maintained my calmness and didn't fall into his trapsHe was trying to make me angry so that I would have to be removed and wait even longer to pick up my vehicleIt wasn't until after I mentioned that I stood in front of the camera for literally the 9th time, and mentioning I was recording the conversations, that he finally showed up at 1:amEven in person he was quite rude and trying to slide by stating i'm lucky I won't be paying the extra thirty bucks for the extra days storageHe wouldn't admit he was at faultI paid $
What irks me is that I drive an automatic four-wheel drive Jeep WranglerAutomatic four wheel drive vehicles need to be towed via flat-bed instead of being dragged by just the rear or front end because if not, then the drive train WILL get damagedEspecially if the e-brake is on

My sons car was towed from his apartment complex for being illegally parkedWhen he made contact with the dispatcher from Midnight Recovery he did not properly make an appointment to pick up his carHe also was very upset and did not speak to the dispatcher very respectfullyWhen I called to speak with her to get the address of the tow lot she informed I would need an appointment and that if there was anymore attitude she would not release the carShe can not legally do thatI made the appointment and when arriving at the tow lot my son threw his drivers license on her hood without speaking and she tried to send us away without the vehicleMy husband continued to try to reason with her and she finally started paperworkWhen the car was brought out of the lot my son got the ground to see if there was any damage and the gentleman at the lot made a remark to the affect that they aren't responsible for damage on a towAs my son was getting in his car he called him a name and that's when he threatened bodily injury to both my son and husbandTelling them to get the *** off his lot or was going to kick their ***My sons behavior and attitude was disrespectful but making threats you can not legally back up and making threats of bodily harm are completely unacceptable

I woke up this morning ( January 7th, 2016) to go to work As I was walking outside to my vehicle I looked up and realized that my car was not in the parking space that it had been in the evening before I looked around and realized that my vehicle was no where to be found
I called Midnight Recovery Towing since their number was listed on the lease of the apartment complex I live in Upon calling, they informed me that my vehicle was not in their lot and they had not towed it I then filed a Police Report
When I was speaking with the Police Officer I was informed that indeed, Midnight Recovery had my vehicle The Police Officer was aware that my car had been towed I then called Midnight Recovery Towing back
Midnight Recovery Towing realized at that time that they DID have my vehicle in their lot They demanded that I pay $to get the vehicle back! I was told they would not except cash or check- only credit cards This company is a scam!

I to have had a very negative experience with this so called businessI saw the sticker about warning to tow called to inquire and from the get go, Andrew that was his name was rude insulting and hung up on meThis place is shame full and the customer service is less than pathetic

Shane the owner stole my car as I slept the week of ChristmasMy parking lot was covered in ice and snow my car had been stuck for several days once it warmed up and the ice started to melt this guy came in the middle of the night and towed my car and others for being "parked over the yellow line" - Their was no yellow line, their was so much ice you couldn't see itMy neighbor is the real victim, Shane took his car, he's a very elderly man who laid on the office floor crying having heart palpitations begging management to return his vehicle, no one complied that guy will likely lose his car permanently as he is on disability for being a heart patient, he said that car was his only way to the hospital

Stayed at a friend's place and my husband parked in a spot that was assigned for min because visior parking is horrible and there never is anyHe came in to grab our son and help us to the car the Windows were even downCame out and car was goneWhen my husband came in he walked right in front of the tow truckThere is no way someone made a complant in two mins plus there was no one parked any where near there after itSo I called the police station after we looked in the lease to see who the tow company is and it states hr notice tooThey have one sign posted at the gate they should post at the spaces tooSo I called them a hour after and they said So a few days after my husband went to get it in the website it states 24/no where does it state if it's after you get changed a after hours feeSo he had the and was asking why they towed it and they stated he had a attitude and wouldn't let him get itThen they won't let me get my son's car seat out

So I bought my motorcycle days prior to it getting towed without warning in the middle of the night thinking it was stolenColorado state law has a days grace period for tags.I was literally blackmailed into 415$ of bull carp with this placeThey close at and I went in at because that's all my work would allow meMidnight recovery said I had minutes or I'd have to come back another day spend more late fees and get it outThey had my bike propped on a radiator like it was junkThey are all rude don't care about anyone's property and completely dumb minded they need to all be fired and get a real jobThey're all cons

RudeRudeRudeCalled the number I was given by my apartment complex literally times at 12:30am, no answer, voicemail was fullCalled the number on the side of the tow truck WHICH IS SITTING IN MY PARKING LOT to get help, and all the cranky, rude lady on the other end said to me was that I was "breaking the law" by calling that number and I had to "deal with it" and "call management in the morning." Not an offer to do anything usefulI will be calling management and filing a complaintI will be calling my property manager and filing a complaintIf you can't do your jobs, you shouldn't have them

My vehicle was mistakenly towed out of my residence by Midnight towing between the hours of 12am and 6am. The reason for the tow was because of "expired tags," but my tags were not expired, nor were they due to expire for several months.
The owner, [redacted], is unprofessional and rude. When I called to inquire about why my vehicle had been wrongly towed, he responded with a hateful attitude and hung up on me when he didn't like my reply. Even though he was in the wrong, he did not want to hear what I had to say. This mistake got me reprimanded at my job and has caused a lot of tension between my landlord and I, who contracts this [redacted] out to target vehicles in the complex while they are sleeping. [redacted] would not speak to and forced me to communicate through a third party, like a child, and then would not show his face when I showed up to get my vehicle. When I asked him to return it to me since it had been wrongly towed, he replied that it would be at least an hour and a half before he could send a truck.
Absolutely ridiculous.
If you cannot READ, you should not own a business.
