After confirmation from insurance company this is an error on dr's part and I should not be held accountable for the typo.I have gone to this clinic since 2012. I have had the exact same procedure done each time and my insurance company,[redacted], has paid 100%. The dr's billing office typed in the wrong Dr ID and the insurance company kicked it out as out of network. I have told the dr's billing office what they did and they will not stop sending me bills. This was their error. I am not going to pay for a billing error on the part of the doctor. If they had used the correct dr id number they would have gotten paid by the insurance company. I have asked to go to court for this as my insurance company has stated this was all dr error and they will give me all the documents on all the previous procedures showing that they are trying to charge me for the same procedure that insurance has always paid for!Desired SettlementI am asking for the dr's office to stop sending me bills on this as I am not liable for their typographical error. SHE STATES THE CLAIM WAS PAID AS OUT OF NETWORK IN ERROR ....PATIENT BENEFITS WERE 100% FOR ASC AND PHYSICIAN...PER[redacted] THE CLAIM WILL BE SENT BACKFOR PROCESSING ALLOW 5-10 DAYS CALL REF# 863THE CLAIM WAS NEVER REPROCESSED BY [redacted]. WE NEVER HEARD FROM THE PATIENT AGAIN UNTIL WE RECEIVED THE COMPLAINT FROM THE Revdex.com REGARDING THE CHARGES. 01/26/2015PER CALL BACK TO [redacted] REGARDING CLAIM STATUS I SPOKE WITH ANN WHO STATES AFTER REVIEWING PATIENTS ACCOUNT AND OUR CONTRACT DR STEUER WAS A NETWORK PROVIDER AT THE TIME THESE SERVICES WERE RENDERED. SHE STATES THE CLAIM WAS PAID OUT OF NETWORK IN ERROR AND ONCE AGAIN SHE IS ESCLATING THE ISSUE SO THE CLAIM CAN BE REPROCESSED CORRECTLY ALLOW 2-3 BUSINESS DAYS CALL REF # 285202/02/2015PER CALL TO [redacted] A PAYMENT WAS ISSUED 1/30/2015 EFT #XXXXXXXXXX PER JESS CALL REF #0261THE BALANCE HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM THE PATIENT SHE NO LONGER OWES FOR THIS DATE OF SERVICE.
