Review: Was charged $350 by mr.p[redacted] at midtown staffing solutions for finding employment plus an mandatory Osha class which was required for employment ,, I never recieved the osha card or an emplyment , I've tried contacting by phone and e mail never getting a response.Desired Settlement: 100% refund

Review: False job advertisement.Required payment of $349 (with a down payment of $100 on the spot) for an OSHA certificate. When the initial call happened they said this was an possible job for a maintenance position in New York City and to come in for an interview, When in fact they are a staffing agency who blindly robs people ( who already do not have money and is looking for a job!!) went back for a refund 20 minutes later and said because I signed a bogus contract, I cannot get a refund. The contract itself is unfair and very unclear. the fact that I am was not fully explained how the procedure would happen until after the signing, I feel like I was taken advantage of.There was someone who went through the Osha training and said he's been waiting on his certificate for 2 weeks and NO ONE ever called him back for job placement.These people are robbing innocent costumers blind! It's unethical and down right wrong.Desired Settlement: I just want my $100 back

Review: As an applicant for a housekeeping position this company told me that I was required to get my OSHA General Industry 10 Hour training. This company then told me the training cost $349 dollars which I have paid in full. After my classes ( which ended 01/**/2015) I have never received my OSHA license. I have attempted to get in contact with the company but all of their numbers are disconnected and no one is responding to me. This company has basically vanished from radar.Desired Settlement: I desire to get my refund being that I never received my license.

Review: When this company contacted me from [redacted] job website the lady stated that the courses needed for the OSHA training would only cost $100 and the salary for the job they would place me in after training completion would be $17 an hr. Once I went to the office the salary changed to $11 an hr and the courses were now $100 registration fee plus $249 for the training. I paid the $100 registration however later found through research that I did not have to pay for that training because most jobs train you for OSHA certification. When I asked for my $100 back because I did not take the courses they hung up on me. I called again and they kept transferring my call then hung up. I still have the receipt. They are taking advantage of the unemployed and must be stopped.Desired Settlement: I want my $100 back.

Review: I paid a balance to attend a state certified OSHA 10 hour General Industry class. I was told upon completion that I would be receiving the card within 60 days as of January [redacted], 2015. I was given a temporary certificate which has expired & I still haven't received my card. I would like to receive what I have paid for. I have receipts & a signed agreement.Desired Settlement: To obtain the OSHA 10 hour General Industry card that I paid for.

Review: I went thinking I was going to a job interview then they tell me I need to take the [redacted] workshop that is 350 then I will have secure job placement. I left a deposit of 100 and when I returned to pay the balance they had moved out the building, the phone is disconnected and the rest of the phone numbers I had noone answers. Review: I was told during the interview I must pay $349, $99 upfront for a required OSHA license to work in the occupation that I interviewed. When I tried to reschedule my test time due to family emergency, I could not reach the office and all forms of contact are not active. I discover thru online blogs the company requires/charges an unnecessary license requirement and does not complete any job placement it offers.Desired Settlement: I would like my $99 back that was paid and to void anything contracts or affiliation with midtown staffing solutions

Review: I took a 10 hour general industry outreach test with midtown staffing solution for my osha card in 12/** /14 .And I paid 349 for this class and I didn't get my osha card . I been calling no one answers the phone. I went there today at [redacted] I was told they are no longing there. I have my certifies .All I want is my osha card or my money back . I have all my paper work and my receipts can you please help me because I want a better job

I have call several times trying to get a refund because lack of assistance and consistency, but I have been getting the run around. I finally get feed up and down to their office and to my surprise I learned that they relocated and now all of the telephone numbers are non working.
